Hello. I am Hutch Church, your host and founder of Contender's Voice. Welcome aboard! They will provide additional clarity concerning the scope of the ministry. In particular, we encourage browsers to review the educational material which comprise the Torah-centered restoration curriculum. Further, the service will raise your prophetic vision and stir incentive for you to (a) pursue growth in the knowledge of your Torah-based Hebraic heritage, (b) discern and yield to the oversight of the Holy Spirit in your faith journey, and (c) mature as a genuine disciple and friend of our resurrected Messiah, Yeshua. And be sure to keep in your heart the wonderful promise of Psalm 32:8. It is posted above and is the Father's personal, prophetic assurance for you, dear contender, and to me also. It is written: "I will guide you along the best path for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." The "best path" would be the"good way" pointed out in Jeremiah 6:16. It is foundational to the restoration vision which this ministry promotes.

Contender's Voice blogs and education material stand prepared to become a catalyst that ushers serious students to the trailhead of a renewed pilgrimage into the full, unabridged Word of God. Learn the Obedience of Faith

"Will you not revive us and bring us to life again..." (see Psalm 85:4-7).

Contender's Voice is a whole truth restoration service which provides messianic believers with fundamental biblical instruction and prophetic vision. The site is relevant to and thus supports the restoration of Torah-based, Hebraic-oriented truth and practice to the western Ecclesia/Church. Hence, our hands reach out to assist all sincere followers of Messiah Yeshua who intend to make progress in their faith journey. Contender's Voice welcomes these believers and all His saints, both young and older; including people of of every race, tribe, and tongue--including Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals, Jews, and those not in mainline faiths as well. However, Contender's Voice is particularly designed for (1) the instruction and edification of messianic Christians--the House of Israel returnees, who are transitioning to their Hebraic spiritual heritage and identity, and (2) the recovery and preservation of the un-compromised Torah standards of the apostolic Nazarene faith. To facilitate this prophetically-timed renewal, visionary Spirit-led believers are being enlisted and equipped by the Spirit of Elohim. They are today's faith restoration forerunners who have the responsibility of guarding their recovered heritage from false teachers and faulty doctrines, as did their spiritual forefathers. You may be one of these modern western contenders of truth. I am. So let us not regard the recent election as happenstance.

Rather it was a referendum and great example of Yahweh's providential care that, in response to prayer, occurred at a very needful time. It has provided our nation with a reprieve that will provide time to disable the advance fascism, forestall "woke" progressivism, and allows a space for laying a biblical foundation based upon Messiah Yeshua's words (Mt. 7:24-27) for all interested corporate and individual parties. The election encourages faith in God and stirs hope for a restoration of spiritual and secular lawfulness to the culture. But the extent of the turnaround is connected directly to the sincerity our repentance, prevailing prayer, and unflagging effort. A national return to constitutional law and order would then be within reach. What is your opinion, friend? Will the modern Ecclesia--Christendom at large, recognize and welcome Hebraic truth realities into its orthodoxy? This seems unlikely. But a heated mass of Spirit charged particles (saints) is already doing so and it will go forward to contend for and sustain a truth revival. This is the fundamental revival needed. Thus, teaching converts to go forward and become true disciples of the Messiah and understand the importance of "learning the obedience of the faith" is an important goal of Contenders Voice.

Choose His Path

"Stand by the roads and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is..." (Jer. 6:16).

Contender's Voice ministry is rooted in the vision of a Spirit and Torah truth revival--which is the type of spiritual comeback most needed today. It is (a) messianic in nature, (b) Torah oriented, (c) favorable to the full ministry of the Holy Spirit, and (d) a provider of educational, college level materials for helping students envision, be equipped, and assume their place in the unfolding prophetic plans that Messiah Yeshua has for this hour. Central among these features is the restoration of Torah-rooted truth to the modern, conflicted Ecclesia whose biblical faith foundations are severely cracked and crumbling. What's more, Contender's Voice is also (d) a ministry that is open to the true gifts of the Holy Spirit. They've been ignored too long and should be manifesting in messianic gatherings and homes. As a means of upholding these worthy standards we will highlight the ancient paths as the good way of the Torah referenced above in Jeremiah 6:16. It encourages all readers to study and faithfully follow the ancient paths of Torah--the "good way"--as did Yeshua, His apostles and disciples...and Paul with his companions too. The ancient paths must be our ways also! Toward that end, Contender's Voice envisions a heavenly inspired spiritual and moral awakening--of significant dimensions, occurring throughout America's secular and spiritual realms. To be clear--such a grace-generated phenomenon is "most necessary!" And the Torah must be the foundation.

C.V. is a restoration ministry, and as such we emphasize the prophetic faithfulness and compassion of Yahweh for His whole chosen nation, Israel--as demonstrated by restoring (a) the House of Judah to the land and (b) gathering His scattered sheep--the descendants of the Ten Tribes of the House of Israel from their spiritual exile among the nations. Until recently these multi-national people in particular had been overlooked, undervalued, or considered only as small Hebraic groups and not weighty enough to occupy significant importance in the end times playbook. Nevertheless, the (c) regathering of the scattered tribes and (d) the movement toward reunification of the houses of Judah and Israel are well underway. This is fitting--for the (e) restoration of the Kingdom of Israel is foremost in Yeshua's prophetic vision. And we, who claim the Savior as Adonai, are called to participate in His restoration efforts. Confirmation for this vision is the current recovering and contending efforts already underway for the pure faith and unblemished orthodoxy once delivered to the original apostolic saints. Mt. 28:18-20; Acts; Jude 1:3. Understanding Yeshua's ministry of gathering and spiritually restoring His dispersed people is central to comprehending the whole scope of Scripture and the Torah recovery movement. Hence, working for the reunification of the House of Judah and the House of Israel is a purpose of Contender's Voice.

Adhere to His Sacred Word

"Study to show yourself approved unto God..." (2 Tim. 2:15).

Contender's Voice ministry encourages all readers to take up a committed study and faithful adherence to the ancient paths of YHWH, i.e., the instructions of the Torah. Such a reasonable dedication is necessary for living profitably before Yahweh and growing in His grace and truth. It is the "good way" which Yeshua, His apostles and disciples, and Paul with his companions, followed. [ Note: Paul never regarded himself as a Christian. Nor was he ever addressed as one. Rather, he was a Spirit-filled Nazarene believer who was a member of the messianic Jewish sect called "The Way."] Thus it is obvious that the ancient paths of our forerunners must be the ways of life to which modern disciples of the Messiah adhere also! Toward that end, Contender's Voice envisions a heaven-sent, spiritual and moral awakening of multitudes to His unabridged, pure, divinely inspired truth. This would result in a spiritual "comeback" of significant dimensions occurring throughout America's darkened secular and spiritual realms. You can be sure that a phenomenon of this nature is "absolutely necessary" for restoring the country's confused and weakened Ecclesia and thus stabilizing our bewildered nation, America. Christianity is a hybrid religion actually, but it can adhere to enough basic biblical "salt and light"standards to uphold and enlighten, to some extent anyway, a darkened society. But ignorance of Yahweh's Torah, the solid foundation of Holy Writ, has left Christendom weakened and bereft of a solid rock foundation. Its continuous disregard of (1) Yahweh's sacred Torah instructions and the spiritual vitality associated with it. Other debilitating shortfalls include (2) the neglect of Yeshua's Baptism with the Holy Spirit and the (3) false doctrine of Cessationism. This is a fundamentalist blunder that declares the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit no longer function today! What do you think about that, dear reader? Contender's Voice

Keep in mind, dear reader, that Contender's Voice is hebraically oriented. We do not unfairly criticize anyone's religion or traditions, but rather attempt to teach from an Israelite, Torah based perspective. Hence Contender's Voice recommends that all readers think for themselves as they read, and to check out our material with what is written in the Scriptures. Thus, we proclaim the Sabbath-keeping Yeshua and not the westernized version of Him referenced as Jesus. Nor do we promote all of the holidays that institutional Christianity continues to practice. This ministry will remind people that Yeshua was a Torah observant Jew from Nazareth whose human genealogy is joined to the Patriarchs, the Tribe of Judah, and the royal House of David. Our Yeshua was crucified, buried, and resurrected according to the Passover pattern, and soon afterward "taken up" to the Father. He is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit. Mt. 3:11-12. the coming Judge of the living and the dead, and the Torah who became flesh. John 1:14. And it is by Elohim's grace that people are saved through faith in Him, His divine Son. This is the anointed One whom Contender's Voice declares. Ephesians 2:8. Keep in mind, chosen reader--as you persist in walking in His set-apart paths, expect to be (1) prophetically enlightened, (2) regularly renewed-in spirit and soul by way of your discipleship dedication as you abide in His words, (3) inspired by His prophetic objectives, and (4) greatly blessed in your love-centered friendship-fellowship with Yeshua. Hence, a life of spiritual renewal and refreshing for each of His sheep is another aim of Contender's Voice.

Fervently Guard your Faith

"Unless the LORD is the foundation [unless His Mt. 7:24-27 building code for life and ministry is followed], the Building won't stand..." (see Psalm 127).

Committed Torah believers of the original New Covenant Nazarene faith--those who were summoned and willing to guard Yahweh's truth, were tasked with the distinct responsibility of raising up and implementing the timely ancient entreaty (plea) recorded in Jude's epistle during the early apostolic era. It is a restoration directive actually, written to the Nazarene saints of old whose faith community and its orthodoxy were being greatly troubled by the entry of antinomian, heretical teachers. These vain pedagogues were wicked men who taught a perverted grace doctrine and rejected the sovereignty and true nature of Israel's Messiah. Hence, the strong appeal to the Nazarene disciples to guard the faith handed down to them by Yahweh is straight-forward and reads: "...earnestly contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3). Truth be told, this directive was not only an urgent summons. It carried the authority of a biblical injunction. And what's more, it proved to be a well-timed, resuscitative decree that served to (1) guard the Nazarene pure orthodoxy from the entry of the flawed teaching of various heretical sects, (2) maintain peace and order in the assembly, and (3) encourage and renew the apostolic saints and converts whose faith and hope were teetering under the onslaught of anti-messiah teaching and persecution. 2 Timothy 4:1; John 1:1-14.

This same kind of spiritual skulduggery is being used by reprobate religionists to render the Word of Elohim obscure, misunderstood, and/or unintelligible! Because the saints do not study the Word under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit, or obey it, many are undiscerning and easily deceived. Therefore, the entry of persistent false teaching and deceptive New Age ideologies has been woven into Christendom's orthodoxies and even the national mindset. The invasion of spiritual deception has continued for centuries and is accelerating in America today, to the extent that in fact we find ourselves under an demonic spell. Therefore, rebuilding true Torah-based faith foundations on His words, at least by a remnant of "crossover" New Wine saints, is absolutely required for maintaining and nurturing a long-term spiritual awakening and recovery. Thus, contending for and restoring the original, apostolic standard of Torah-based faith to disciples of Messiah is an objective of Contender's Voice.

Becoming a Bereanite !

Readers-before going forward please consider these two relative exhortations:

Exhortation # 1: Examine the Word of Yahweh. 1.5 Minutes

As you go forward through the site's teachings and blogs, keep in mind that Contender's Voice encourages each person to emulate the study habits of the venerable Berean Jews of Northern Greece. They attended a synagogue in ancient Berea that was being visited by Apostle Paul. While there, he regularly presented the Gospel to the Greek and Judean attendees. Among those in the ancient congregation at that time were ardent Jewish congregants, men who were eager to learn as much about the acclaimed Jewish Messiah as they possibly could. Thus, they carefully examined their Old Covenant scrolls daily to determine if what Paul--the Israelite missionary, taught them about Yeshua was validated by the Torah--and accurate. They were not disappointed. Indeed, Paul's bold proclamations proved entirely trustworthy, since the apostle's teaching was consistently based upon the Jewish Tanakh, the Hebrew Bible--Judaism's fundamental text. So it appears that these Jewish men were seeking confirmation from Yahweh's Torah for transitioning from rabbinic Judaism to the Messiah-based Nazarene faith. Many of them became enlightened and believed Paul's doctrinal presentation of the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua, the divine Son of Elohim. Accordingly, a goodly number of those studious and inspired seekers would be (1) converted and become Spirit-born disciples through faIth in Yeshua the Messiah, (2) go on to mature in the impeccable apostolic "faith once for all delivered to the saints" and, most likely, (3) grow in grace and go on to bear much fruit of the Spirit throughout their lives. See: John 3:7; 15:7-8; Jude 1:3.

Exhortation # 2: Emulate the Bereans of Macedonia. 1.5 Minutes

Today's earnest followers of Yeshua are facing a similar type of situation as did the Bereans long ago. I am sure you are aware, dear visitor, that there is a Hebraically centered, Torah restoration movement underway in our nation--of which Contender's Voice is a committed advocate and contributor. In fact, it is a grace-oriented, prophetically-timed Torah-centric revival that is capable of satisfying the fundamental spiritual need of modern believers. And that dire need would be the restoration of the unabridged, full expanse of holy Scripture to the westernized Body of Messiah. Hence, the Holy Spirit is leading these prophetic saints first--to Elohim's unmixed truth, and secondly--to the duty and benefit of un-compromised sanctification. Be sure of this, beloved contender--consecration to Torah-rooted sacred truth is Yahweh's expectation for our lives. Matthew 5:6. Consequently, many believers who know and love Yeshua as their Messiah are measuring this historic Torah recovery phenomenon for possible participation and support. In conclusion, this ministry recommends that every reader of our Web site, manuals, and books follows the example of the Bereans. First, study the Scriptures faithfully under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. Secondly, prayerfully evaluate everything you read on this site (and others) by comparing it with Yahweh's Word. 1. The Election and Reprieve.

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest " (Mt. 11:28).

The Election: The voting came...and went. It encompassed a time of people evaluating the candidates, comparing cultural needs and existing standards, weighing hopes against probabilities, and evaluating standing and proposed laws relative to (a) debunking or (b) upholding the infernal "wokism" onslaught. [After all, aren't laws--at heart, reflections of moral values.] With that behind us, we now find ourselves entering a calmer period brought forth by God's love and grace. It's a space for introspection, repentance and prevailing prayer united to selfless service...all uniting for restoring and advancing of God's purposes for our personal lives, the Ecclesia/Church also, and re-establishing spiritualand moral lawfulness to the nation. In a nutshell: A critical mass (remnant) of Spirit charged particles (Spirit baptized saints) is needed to ignite and sustain a spreading "whole truth" revival. This is the outstanding need of the westernized Body of Messiah. So, get let's off the couch, friends, and take this eye-of-the-storm period as the sent blessing of Providence. It is a respite; an opportunity that probably will not come again. Selah. Take advantage of it!

The World: Messiah's followers and Torah restoration contenders will face persecution and their Torah-rooted Gospel will be ridiculed and resisted by various factions. Job 5:6-7; 2 Timothy 3:12. As a matter of fact, this is happening is America now. But take heart, ye friends of Yeshua. Our Elohim always provides the means and the wisdom that enable us to overthrow evil and restore His truth, and the peace and freedom associated with it. Isaiah 43:19. Indeed, we have been earmarked and anointed by the Eternal One of Israel to overcome the world--that is, its lawlessness, injustice, corrupt secular and spiritual systems, and moral depravity that afflict our lives and service! 1 John 5:4; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Hebrews 12:1. The Father's unwavering love reveals His agape love, faithfulness, reliability, and constancy! And He has chosen and divinely empowered you for service in this historic era of unfolding prophecy. Therefore Beloved: "Be courageous; Be strong" (1 Corinthians 16:13). Despite the reprieve, the dynamic time ahead will require it.

The People: YHWH has one elect people among the nations of earth--it is the set-apart nation called Israel comprised of a mixed multitude who choose to follow the Good Shepherd and keep Yahweh's instructions. Believers in Messiah Yeshua are grafted into the nation of redeemed Israel by divine decree and the Holy Spirit's supernatural activity. They enter the Kingdom of God with a new identity, not just spiritually as ghosty, diaphanous beings, but physically, as transformed humans--new creations born of God, living in the freedom of the Spirit, and set-apart as devoted disciples (students) of the Messiah. Genesis 12:1-3; Rom. 11:11-31; Gal. 3:1, 2 Cor. 5:17; Tim. 2:5; etc. "All His words and actions are revealed as eternally centered on this special chosen nation in both covenants." [1] Yeshua's regathering mission was inaugerated by His message in Luke 4:18. He was addressing Israel [pashat level level of interpretation] but was also speaking of the descendants (lost sheep) of the house of Israel who were banished long ago and now live throughout the nations far from their origin. [remez level of interpretation]. 1 Corinthian 1:2. A major, forward step in that prophetically charged direction are the diverse Hebrew Roots/Torah restoration movements--an expanding manifold phenomenon initiating a movement of believers back to the divinely sanctioned original Torah-rooted, Spirit-oriented, Israelite apostolic faith. 2. Become an True Eber

"So Abram...set out from Haran...for the land of Canaan...and they arrived there" (Gen. 12:1-6).

Part One 2 Minutes

Keep in mind reader, that Jeremiah 6:16 which has been posted above, is an exhortation to read again and seriously consider. The verse represents Yahweh reaching out to Judah, through His prophet, and calling the people back to (a) Him and (b) His ancient paths. Elohim and His "good way" always go together! But the collective attitude of the Southern Kingdom Israelites was couched in these arrogant words: "We will not walk in it." Hence, the grim prospect of judgment--exile in Babylon, continued to loom even larger. Today, our nation is expiring, the institutionalized Ecclesia is beset with compromise and contradictions, and lawlessness leavens every state and city. But, by the grace of Elohim, the prophet's inspired words concerning His ancient paths are finding their way to our ears and hearts. And there is a remnant of Christians who are listening and saying: "We will walk in it!" By lifting up the prophet's verse the Holy Spirit is directing you and me, and many other believers today as well, to crossover to the "ancient paths" of Elohim. They comprise His covenantal instructions given to all Israel in the wilderness. Upon these ancient paths contemporary New Covenant believers are also called to walk and prosper. These "paths" comprise "the good way" of the Torah that the apostolic saints--our predecessors, loved and trod.

And those faithful Nazarenes, bearing compassionate concern for their fellow Israelites, exhorted others to crossover to faith in Messiah and commit fully to "the good way" also. Therefore, as the early contenders did, we must now learn to love our Elohim's ancient Torah paths and closely adhere to all those that are applicable. Such is not legalism at all. Rather, humble compliance to divine instructions is the foremost biblical expression of un-compromised faith. Further, obedience refreshes faith and sustains spiritual vitality! Western saints who "go over to another side," the Hebraic side of faith, become an eber -- a crossover. Eber is a Hebrew word that means to cross over or pass through. Today, an eber would be a person who, under Elohim's direction, leaves his or her old lifestyle or Torah-less religion behind and "crosses over" to the Father's prescribed Torah paths and walks in them. This is Yahweh's counsel for today's spiritually deflated believers that can put them on the ancient paths leading to greater spiritual clarity, peace, and friendship-fellowship with Messiah. Deuteronomy 28: 1-12; Romans 8:16-17. This is the summons of our Good Shepherd. Psalm 23. As it is written: 'When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear his voice behind you to guide you, saying 'This is the right path; follow it' " (Isa 30:21). Have you heard His still small voice? You will. 1 Kings 17:45; 19:22; Ps. 85:8.

Moreover, such willing compliance constitutes the faith of the first ebers, Abraham and Sarah. Probably beset by the Mesopotamian ungodly culture, Abraham heard and followed the instructions given to him personally by the only true Elohim, Yahweh--Creator of heaven and earth, and everything therein. He was commanded to depart from his home and journey to an unknown land called Canaan. Once he and Sarah left Haran of Mesopotamia and crossed over into Canaan, according to Yahweh's precise instructions, they remained there and never returned to their old habitat. Hence, Abraham and Sarah were the first post-diluvian ebers, or Hebrews. They were committed to trusting the covenant promises made to them by Yahweh and hence closely followed His directions...and the world has been blessed by them doing so. They are our inspiration. You and I became ebers when we crossed over from the satanic kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light through faith in Messiah Yeshua. We became ebers again, so to speak, when we crossed over from Torah-less faith to the apostolic, Nazarene faith "once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3). Be confident of this, blessed reader--heartfelt conformance to His Law--all applicable and doable instructions, united with prayer and Scripture study, are the chief means by which you and I will (a) find peace and joy for our souls, (b) bear much fruit in life, and (c) acquire intimate fellowship and visionary partnership with our Savior by the Communion of the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 13:14. This is very good! You will do well, valiant saint, as an eber emulating obedient Abraham on the "narrow road" of pilgrimage that leads to the resurrection of the righteous and the crown of life. James 1:12. As you go forward in your faith, hold to His assurances. Here's one for you: "Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble" (Psalm 119:165). This is the "Good Way" of transformation to which disciples of the Savior are being summoned. Are you an Eber? Selah.

"For our struggle...is against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil..." (Ephesians 6:12 ESV).

Sentient satanic forces wage an ongoing spiritually-based cosmic warfare on earth. That supernatural juggernaut works relentlessly against (a) all Yahweh's Torah-rooted truth, (b) the Ecclesia and true followers of the Savior, and (c) all mankind as well. People must understand--supernatural spiritual conflict is a fact of life and it produces very real personal, societal, national, and even global ramifications. This wickedness must be opposed. Waging warfare against such unuan forces must be done with spiritual weapons...and wisdom. All the activities occurring on the planet, good or bad, have spiritual components undergirding them. Kinetic war has an energizing spiritual base. Satan, the leader of the angelic rebellion against Elohim, was cast out of heaven before the creation of Adam and Eve. This evil entity is an unredeemable rebel and remains a hater of humanity. Thus, the epicenter of the cosmic conflict is earth! Believers are caught up in this chaos and must be engaged with it daily. The rank and file of these wicked powers, both earthly and heavenly, is vast and their evil activities pervade the nations. It is the powers of darkness that raise up the false teachers and heretical persuasions that ventured into Nazarene assemblies. These pitiful dupes of old had no intention of belonging to Yeshua's flock, but instead were seeking to alarm and scatter it by: (1) drawing the attention of the saints away from the Savior's message and to Jewish oral law, (2) encouraging the veneration of angels, (3) blending Greek philosophy with the Scriptures in order to twist and adulterate apostolic doctrine, and (4) misleading Yeshua's devout converts by slandering their leaders and continually casting doubt on the resurrection of the Savior, their divine Shepherd. These aggressive and hostile tactics were among others that challenged the early Nazarene orthodoxy.

Part Two 1.5 Minutes

The motivation behind this spiritual subterfuge is satanic. The unholy men--irreverent, beguiled puppets of sentient evil spirits, went forward with their damnable mischief and even blasphemed the Almighty. They committed this crime by "adding to and taking away..." from His inspired, sacred words of the Torah, and replacing them with their own words which were crafted to support their twisted interpretations. (Prov. 30:5-6; Rev. 22:18). This was flagrant lawlessness--i.e., a defiant in-your-face sin, so to speak, that smirched the sacred words of grace. These unrepentant arrogant fools, while boasting and causing the "little ones who believed in Him" to stumble, were actually ignoring the divine Son's warning and consequently were making their way on the broad road to damnation and an unspeakably horrifying eternity in the Sulfur Lake with Satan and his fallen angels. Matthew 7:13-14.; 18:6. Revelation 20 and 21. Indeed, our conflict is spiritual and our real enemy is not flesh and blood--i.e., human. The Ecclesia's warfare is against the (a) powers of this dark world and the (b) spiritual forces of evil in/of the heavenly realms. Friends, to succeed in this contest we must evoke the Most High, repent of all sin, pray, and abide on and fight from a solid Torah foundation. What should you and I do? Abide in His instructions, and be diligent with Word-driven prayer! Evoke Yahweh's intervention. Ephesians 6:17.

4. Wield the Sword

"Stand therefore...take...the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim (see Ephesians 6:17).

Hold on to the whole Torah truth and persevere or be conquered by false teaching. The bonafide biblical expression of faith, fundamental worship, and genuine love for (1) God and (2) one's neighbor is heart-felt obedience to the Creator's commandments, all of them that are known, applicable, and doable. This is not hard to do. It was the practice of Nazarene brethren. They trusted in and were devoted to Yeshua--including His teaching. The two went together, so to speak. The Nazarene believers knew Him as the prophesied Messiah, followed Him and became His friends. They respected and obeyed His commandments which was definite proof of their faith and love. Yeshua's followers willingly built the foundations of their lives and service upon His words. Matthew 7:24-27. The love-less false teachers, arrogant heretics, phony prophets, and self-centered bogus apostles did not! They followed their darkened minds, produced hateful agendas, and caste aside the eternal Words of the Son of Elohim. So we will conclude where we started...two paragraphs back. "If anyone loves Me, he will keep my words" (John 14:23). Ask yourself this important question out loud, friend: "Whose words am I using to build my life and family legacies?" See Matthew 7:24-27. Read His building code. Take it to heart and you will come under a full flow of His blessing and enter into friendship-fellowship with Yeshua. Oh yes! Pray daily to be enlightened with heavenly wisdom. It is a principle weapon of spiritual warfare, you know. See James 1:5.

5. Endure and Overcome

"...let the tares and wheat grow together until the harvest" (Matthew 13:30).

Following the resurrection and ascension of Messiah Yeshua multiple explanations, opinions, judgments, and interpretations of the amazing occurrences swirled throughout Israel. Some of the Israelites declared Jesus/Yeshua was indeed the miracle-working Messiah. Others claimed he was a pretender and that the resurrection was staged. Amidst the ensuing uproar, the Nazarene "Way" was intimidated by Israel's religious leaders who accused the sect of denying the Torah and disrespecting Jewish traditions, which were held in high esteem. However, these accusations were false, unsupportable charges. Nevertheless, subtle hostilities continued and grew. In the course of time the Nazarene sect spread out from Jerusalem and Judah, and traveled north toward Asia Minor to teach the Gospel of salvation. As they did it became necessary for the New Covenant, messianic saints--referred to as the "Way," to defend their original apostolic faith against the errant teaching of false apostles, heretical teachers, zealots, and pagan religionists. Such antagonists had also entered the region and were attracted to the apostolic saints' strong faith communities. Some of them sought personal progression and improvement for their own lives. Others however wanted (a) platforms for teaching their erroneous theologies and (b) the benefit of offerings. Anyway, discordant people who promoted doctrines which were contrary to the apostolic faith, showed up again. Actually, I imagine the Nazarenes were not surprised. After all, it is written: "What has been is what will be...there is nothing new under the sun" (Eccl. 1:9). Infernally undergirded wickedness manifesting throughout the earth is ubiquitous, ongoing, and branches out in every place to hinder the establishment of Yahweh's pure biblical truth and righteousness. In fact, it's continuing to happen as you read! Take this to heart: "If anyone loves Me, he will keep my words..." (John 14:23) Here, Apostle John shares the means of developing friendship-fellowship with the Son from which to benefit from during the dark days looming ahead. Would you agree, brethren? Without obedience tto the sacred text the saints trend toward lawlessness, are spiritually exposed to spiritual deception, and in fact become sitting ducks for demonic oppressions. To endure and overcome in this graduated spiritual struggle we must adhere to the commandments of the Almighty and live righteously. Period!

1. Follow Yeshua's Building Code

" ...everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock..." (Mt. 7:24-27).

When you, blessed reader, converted to Messiah Yeshua, you were spiritually reborn by believing the Gospel and the promise of salvation. This life transformation, referred to in John 3:3 as being "born again," is miraculously experienced through genuine faith in the efficacy of His crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection, and atoning shed blood. Ephesians 2:8-9. Such is the precious gift of Elohim for all who truly believe and want to be among the Savior's disciples--His friends. The process of salvation involves the believer being translated from the power of satanic darkness into Elohim's superior Kingdom of light. Such a radical experiential transition would logically necessitate any aspiring disciple of Messiah Yeshua to separate themselves from their former worldly values and establish holy priorities to please their new Sovereign, the King of Glory, and commit to living by His sacred instructions. Col. 1:12-13; 1 John 5:7. So, dear reader--following your (a) conversion, (b) spiritual regeneration-the new birth, and (c) translation into the blessed kingdom of His beloved Son--from which we reign in life through righteousness, did you ever pause to consider your responsibilities? For instance, have you wondered what your foremost duty or commitment, as a Spirit-born believer, actually is? Did you ask your heavenly Father [Abba] to speak to you--by the Holy Spirit via His inspired, holy Word, and inform you what it is that He, in fact, requires of you? Or did you, at some point, stop and ask how you can love your Elohim with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself? Fulfilling these two Great Commandments of the Kingdom is a tall order that requires commitment!

Or have you wondered what would be the pre-eminent biblical way of expressing salvation faith? And what about contemplating the doctrine of holiness--a status to which every saint is called? And here is another question: What is the most pure form of worshiping in spirit and in truth? The answer is within reach and will be presented next! It is the same one for all four questions and thus provides us with fundamental insight that carries existential significance. Unfortunately Christian denominations, as a collective, are not able to demonstrate or promote the prime directive with faith, zeal, and perseverance. The reason for this inability and indifference is because most of them, by their own testimony, are "Torah-less" systems! This is not a criticism; it is a simple fact! And the Ecclesia's chief problem also. The faith foundations of institutional Christendom are built on sand and rocks mixed together, and not upon the solid, indivisible rock foundation of Yeshua's holy words. Matthew 7:24-27. His instructions start in the Torah and run through the Revelation. On what foundation do you stand, dear reader? Be honest. Have you followed the Master's building code? " ...ask for the old paths, and where the good way is, and walk in it..." ( Jer. 6:16)

A recalibrated biblical understanding of salvation is the necessity that could set spiritually hungry saints on the prescribed foundation of Torah-based faith and shield them from the false teachings found in the tenets of most incorporated Christian denominations. As have many converts in the past, I too was educated in and prepared for ministry by trusting in basic Church doctrines, religious traditions, assorted holidays, end-time scenarios, and such introduced into the fellowships by their original founding fathers. This is a common phenomenon and a problem that has introduced false teaching into much of Christendom's rank and file.

In this prophetic hour, the Ecclesia is experiencing a faith correction that challenges the widespread religious preference for compromised orthodoxy. Those who are being led by the Holy Spirit and growing in grace are finding themselves arriving at the Torah. John 16:13; Romans 8:14. Indeed, Spirit-inspired prodigal sons and daughters are awakening spiritually and returning to the Father's house and His commandments. This ongoing return is currently not a smooth or entirely harmonious journey. Nor is it without controversy or censorship, but it is a needed movement that is prophetically timed and growing. So, what do you think? I think the Hebrew Roots phenomenon is tantamount to a genuine "Holiness Movement," which is a restorative blessing our spiritually, morally, and politically tattered and drained country desperately needs! I also think Yeshua is regathering and restoring the scattered lost sheep of the House of Israel in preparation for its eventual reunification with the House of Judah. It's time for a reformation. We might be entering the sixth seal which suggests a war, after which a New World Order could be established and the Tribulation begin. We live in a dynamic period and much will be required of His saints. Here's a relevant promise for you: "The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger" (Job 17:9). The word is true, but first, we need to go back and retrieve the Torah-based orthodoxy of the original New covenant Nazarene Israelite apostles and disciples of Yeshua... the pure Hebraic-Jewish faith doctrines that were altogether rejected during the third and fourth centuries.

3. Relationship with God is Defined by Obedience

" If you love me you will keep my commandments " (John 14:15).

While the religious, multi-branched colossus, Christendom, sustains a religious "form" and is known for its social works and the proclamation of a westernized Christ, as a loosely related colossus it has for the most part, proven to be spiritually deficient. Having rejected Elohim's (1) Torah and (2) the supernatural ministry gifts of Holy Spirit. Friends, Yahweh's miraculous power is needed by the incorporated Ecclesia (Church), its congregants, and even sinners as much today as it was 2000 years ago. The cessationists - those who declare the manifest workings of the Holy Spirit ceased after the apostolic period, are sorely mistaken. See: Isaiah 11:2; Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Peter 4:10-11. Without these two vital necessities--the Torah and the full ministry of the Spirit, reset into the Body of Messiah it will linger like a boxer with only one arm trying to fight a fully equipped, dangerous opponent. The Ecclesia is simply not living up to its spiritual potential. It's certainly no surprise that lawlessness reigns over the spiritual landscape of America, a nation which lies under a demonic spell. For instance most who proclaim Christ regard obedience to Yah's commands as legalism. What do you think, dear reader? I think this: in order for us to mature and fill out our full, Elohim given potential, Messiah's followers need to recover the Torah honoring, Spirit filled"faith once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3), conform to it, and then go forward into Yeshua's prophetic-based purposes. 4. Illusions. Not everything is as it seems.

"Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their hearts they harbor deceit" (Prov. 26:24-26 ).

It is written: "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God" (1 John 4:1). This is a timely warning for believers to not accept all spiritual claims and teaching. Test them all! The apostle's point is clear--not every doctrine, faith tenet, or teacher is of the truth. Yet, congregants of various faith assemblies are content learning biblical truth within their chosen setting, while assuming the orthodoxy and traditions they learn are altogether scriptural, reliable, and time-proven. After all, Christianity, now having well over 3 billion adherents, has proclaimed Jesus Christ and His Gospel to the nations of earth and this has proven to be the means of establishing many societal improvements to their cultures. Thus, despite various differences, Christian denominations and assorted communities with their religious doctrines and practices--are viewed as trustworthy, and authoritative. Hence their authorized doctrine is acceptable to their members. This confidence is based on the common teachings of the Gospels and New Testament epistles, their proven biblical historicity, success in missions, and the impartation of good social works and moral values. Nonetheless, the doctrines and traditions of Christendom's four major branches and subsets openly testify that, as a whole, they are not centered on the bullseye--Yahweh's set-apart Torah standard. John 8:34; Phil. 3:13-14; Psalm1 119:28,40. In other words, this global religious colossus--from which many of us have been originally taught, has (a) rejected the Hebraic doctrines of original apostolic faith and fallen short of meeting God's core requirements, making it doctrinally flawed and operating below Yahweh's provision. Sad to say, but one might imagine how many people have been persuaded off the "narrow road" by its false teaching? So, what exactly is His essential requirement for you...even for all of us? 5. Abide in His Truth

" Those who act with integrity and honesty bring delight to the LORD" (Prov. 12:22).

Part One 2.5 Minutes

So, exactly what is the expectation of Yahweh our Elohim for all "born again" people who claim to be devout disciples of Messiah Yeshua and His words? It is --> Do God's will. Be occupied, one way or another, in serving His Kingdom's objectives. Primarily that means cooperating with Yeshua's prophetic objectives which include (a) gathering His exiled sheep from the nations and (b) restoring them to the Torah and its ancient pathways. Spirit-born New Testament believers are well equipped for these visionary works. Anyway, what would be the fundamental spiritual commitments necessary to validate and support His servants for such crucial services? There are four qualities required. They are dedication to (1) openly exhibiting unfeigned love for God and one's neighbor, (2) demonstrating the blessed realities of salvation faith, (3) expressing pure, spirit-and-truth worship, and (4) abiding in the state of holiness as expressed by the Torah.

Part Two 2 Minutes

In this post Contender's Voice presents the inspirational, apex verse of Scripture that, when obeyed, enables the saint to fulfill all four existential responsibilities of a disciple-servant of the Messiah. Call it a four-fold dedication directive if you want. Its emphasis on Torah lawfulness is endorsed repeatedly throughout the Holy Scriptures. Our particular verse--coming up, is found in the fifth book of the Torah--Deuteronomy. This book, written by Moses, is packed with powerful spiritual lessons and also records the blessings and curses of the Law. Yeshua, who perfectly obeyed the Law of His Father, declared three scriptures from Deuteronomy to defeat and turn back the assault of Satan in the wilderness. Deut. 8:3; Mt. 4:4. In other words, He used the Sword of the Spirit authoritatively by speaking out loud His Father's Torah scriptures to completely stifle the temptations proffered by the prince of darkness. The Son was victorious! And we must follow our Shepherd's example in using His Father's sacred Word. Spiritual warfare is other-dimensional in nature and our weaponry must be indistinguishable and thus supernatural also--fully fit and appropriate for otherworldly conflict. See Ephesian 6:12-18. We must understand-the underlying core of every person's existential battles on earth is spiritual. Thus the four-fold dedication directive is supported by the strong, unassailable platform of Yahweh's commandments. This heavenly reinforcement is much needed today by the saints for successfully fulfilling their missions and dealing with exacting engagements in the process. Stick around, reader. That foundation verse is next! 1 Peter 4:10; Gal. 5:13-14; Acts 20:35. Jer. 6:16.

Part Three 2 Minutes

Anyway, here is your answer, patient reader. It perfectly addresses the commitment to the four dedications cited above. Our chosen verse is authoritative and straightforward, so take it to heart. There is no equivocation or wavering associated with it. Its principle ethic, or moral requirement, calls for believers to (1) willingly consent to and (2) comply with Yahweh's commandments--all that are known and understood, applicable, and doable. The expectation of obedience to His laws, judgments, and precepts is weighty, and therefore is reiterated throughout the Bible--from cover to cover. Here is the directive--our primary commitment! It is written: "Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of Yahweh thy Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to fear [reverence, respect, and honor] Him" (Deuteronomy 8:6). The pure instruction is simple, straightforward, and strong! Obedience expresses love for Elohim and man, salvation faith, pure worship, and holiness--separation to Yahweh our Elohim. His words are grace oriented and when honored they --

(a) establish spiritual, secular, and moral order that conform to Elohim's character,

(b) demonstrate proof of Elohim's love for you and me,

(d) show the path to friendship-fellowship with Messiah Yeshua,

(e) provide the means for securing our earthly welfare and eternal future,

(f) direct the saints to turn from pagan doctrine and practices and regain their hebraic heritage, and

(g) awaken believers to the significance of their role in the prophetic reunification of the houses of Joseph and Judah, and preparing for the eventual re-establishment of the Kingdom of David.

Therefore, keep Deuteronomy 8:6 in your mind and heart and the four commitments mentioned above will fall into place. This is very good. Hence, we can remain composed in every challenge by trusting His promises. Here's one for you: "Great peace have those who love your law. Nothing can make them stumble" (Psalm 119:165). 6. Listen to Him

" ...man shall not live by bread alone , but on every word that comes from the mouth of God " ( Mt. 4:4).

Concerning the Deuteronomy 8:6 directive--when honored the instruction establishes fidelity of fellowship with the Almighty and holds open heaven's window of blessing. Thus wrote the inspired psalmist -- "Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light to my path..." Psalm 119:105. His blessed Word is given to guide us through the life of faith during our stay on Earth.

The command points the way to holiness, freedom, and peace amidst the trials of modern living. But keep in mind, saint, He makes the rules--not us. His instructions, being direct and honest, are without equivocation. He does not mince His words even when they are unpopular with people. His commands do not waver but are resolute and bring spiritual vitality, social order, and wholesome moral standards into our lives. They are never a burden, rather when His rules are honored (a) Yahweh our Elohim, is glorified and (b) heaven's window is held open, so to speak, through which His desirable blessings come forth without interruptions. Therefore, to disregard His instructions, or even cherry pick from their number only what appears likeable and easy, is foolish. Profitless. Biblical discipleship is very advantageous but it definitely requires love mixed with genuine effort. Mt. 16:24-25; Luke 14:27.

Straddling both the broad road and narrow roads, as many saints do, is not acceptable to the true disciple. Rather, it is abhorrent and the way of the double-minded. These souls who are "unstable and restless" travel the wide highway to destruction. Those of us who profess faith in Yeshua belong on the narrow road--the way of daily manna, living water from the Rock, the manifest gifts of the Holy Spirit, victory over demonically energized enemies, and the holy Torah. Only Yahweh's holy words are doctrine. The distorted teachings of those who chase spiritual novelties and focus on non-biblical super-naturalism are not! Remember the words of the Father concerning Yeshua the Mount of Transfiguration: "This is my beloved Son: hear [listen to] Him"(Mark 9:7). What do you think, dear reader? 7. Remain in the Faith

" And without faith it is impossible to please Him ..." (see Heb. 11:6; Prov. 3:5-6).

Yeshua said to Nicodemus, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3). The Messiah's declaration of this dynamic truth to one man has since been conveyed to all people through the Gospel of John. The spiritual birth mentioned speaks of a miraculous transformation that occurs within people at the time of their conversion to the resurrected Savior, Messiah Yeshua. He also said, "...everyone who hears these words of mine [they represent the Father's will] and puts them into practice [obeys them] is like a wise man who built his house [his life ] on the rock" (Mt. 7:24). Our Savior is also our Sovereign. It is essential to adhere to His words and ways.; to remain in faith and fellowship with the King of Glory; to do the Father's will. But many who confess Yeshua as savior do not bow to Him as Adonai--Master over all creation. Our Creator makes the rules, not us. His way is always best, presented below could be a helpful paradigm for believers who are studying to become genuine disciples following the example of the early followers of the Messiah, peole of the "Way." .Consider it. First, establish the Torah as your foundation of faith, Secondly, study the Scriptures faithfully under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. Thirdly, prayerfully evaluate everything you read and teaching you hear--this site included, by comparing it with Yahweh's sacred Scriptures. Fourthly, decide for yourself the validity of your reading and studies. YHWH love His people and want us abiding in close fellowship with Him. It is written: "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Polls reveal most people.... do not desire to keep and nourish the knowledge of the Almighty in their hearts. A predictable result occurs. The unwelcome truths of Scripture gradually become exiled from their thinking. The supernatural realities of heaven aalso become less and less are authentic to them. Faith withers and becomes moribund [without conviction; approaching death]. tyheir ignorance becomes a strong spiritual sedative and they fall into self-deceptaion, apathy, and soon unbelief. Their ears are the opened to lies, false teaching, and they knit their souls to the the things of man and this dark world....which have become magnified in their sight. But we are toldplainly" "Do not love the world nor tthe things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is notin them' (1 John 2:15-17). Listen carefully to God's words and understand that his ultimate purpose is to restore all Hid people Israel to peace and prosperity, and a hope ful future Apathy ad despair are not.our lot. The prophetic worde provides direction and hope.a. God thinks about us individually and corporately--al the timeb. what He thinks abourt His people is improtant. Why? because His thoughts precede His actions. c. His thought s for you and me are thought of peace, hope and a strong future d. let's beleive and prepare ourselves for the alm ighty to fulfill His thoughts for us. Their not room for dsipair. He is unfathomably wise and has infinite power. We can be assured Elohim can and wwill cccomplsh his great plansHere's your promise: "For the LORD is a sun and a shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 18:11). Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 1:5-6; 16: 26. "I will give a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart and of stone and give you a heart of flesh" Ezekiel 36:26). We are not saved by obedience, we are saved for obedience. YHWH's love plane. Itis abut our relationship with Him and people. Hebrews 5:9. Regarding the saints--if we love Him we will endeavor to keep His commandments. This is the narrow road, the only road leading to the resurrection of the just.. John 14:15. It is the bullseye. Selah. 8. You Shall be Holy

" But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct..." (1 Peter 1:16).

Today the Spirit of Elohim is awakening Messiah's followers to the validity of the Torah and Jewish Tanakh--the Old Covenant. And through them He shows the saints what is truly required of His people. It is written: "Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of Yahweh thy Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to fear [reverence, respect, and honor] Him" (Deut. 8:6). This is a divine directive--a clear commandment to be Holy! Obedience to His truth, as it is revealed in the Sacred Scriptures, is the stable foundation for life, faith, ministry, and being set-apart from the corruption associated with carnal, antichrist living is the place of liberation and peace of heart and mind. The Hebrew word for holiness is kodesh. It means--to be devoted entirely to Elohim, separated from anything unclean to be distinct from an unclean world. Sanctification is expected of his people--we who are called to be extraordinary, not ordinary (. . )...it is the narrow way of which Yeshua spoke. But what is expected but is also rewarded. In fact, sanctification is fundamental to discipleship. Holiness It constitutes a (1) complete separation from the warp and woof of the world's corrupt systems and (b) consecration onto the King of Glory and His prophetic purposes. Our responsibility is to conform our faith and lives to the known, applicable, and doable instructions of the Torah. [A portion of it has been suspended until the Millennium. Ezekiel 40-46] Being "set apart" to Yeshua's restoration service is the means of preparing ourselves as wise virgins for the coming bridegroom. Participating in the prophetic purposes which are found in Yeshua the Savior is a responsibility. In order to gain this high calling we must correct our spiritual shortcomings and align with the whole, unabridged Word of God--not just some cherry picked favorite parts, but all His instructions that apply to you and to me. This current "truth awakening" is, in fact, a great blessing of a loving heavenly Father and an advantage for the saints that gives us reason to rejoice. Yahweh is fulfilling His prophetic promises. So, with that in mind, what is the emphasis of your fellowship with Him, dear reader? And whose words are you using to build your life's legacy? Selah. Tamid Kadima-Alway Forward. Shalom. 9. Pursue Holiness

" Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the LORD" ( Heb. 12:14).

"The doctrine of the holiness of God sits at the center of the Gospel of Jesus Christ--Yeshua HaMashiach. Think about that. Without the holiness of God there would be no moral law which every human is responsible to respect. Without the holiness of God there would be no divine anger with sin." [1] Without Yahweh's holiness there would be no reliability for His promises, no salvation, no deliverance, no fellowship, and no eternal life. But our Elohim is love and "majestic in holiness" (Ex. 15:11). We who trust Him are mightily blessed, for sure! Agaain, holiness is a term that comes from the Hebrew Word Kodesh [Qadowsh]. It means "to cut away" or "to be set apart" -- totally disengaged from (1) sin, (2) whatever or whoever is dishonorable, immoral and spiritually unclean, and from (3) the world's wicked enterprises and evil animating principle--immaterial soul. Rather, holiness speaks distinctly of devotion to God and His moral purity, consecrated service and preparing for the advent of the King, and for eternity. It is written: "...be set apart and holy, useful to the master of the house..." (2 Timothy 2:21). That is not a suggestion. Our individual holiness will not be perfected on earth but those wanting to be (a) useful to the Kingdom and the restoration of Torah truth to the Ecclesia and (b) maintain close fellowship with Yahweh, will strive to remain holy, consecrated, firmly united with Yahweh's whole, holy truth. And thankfully--Messiah's work is complete. I close this comment by reminding you, dear reader, that holiness honors Yeshua, is profitable across the board for each saint, and expected of those especially who want to be useful. So, what is the bedrock of expressing holiness expressed? it is obedience to His commandments. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved for obedience. Selah

The manifold Church system is positioned upon false, compromised doctrines. Timothy was referencing the validity of the Torah and Prophets--the ancient faith to us.... ...Yahweh's original apostolic, Torah-based faith of the Nazarene Ecclesia. In fact, the modern, westernized Christian Church system, for the most part, which originally devolved from the Hebraic apostolic faith, has a reputation of ignoring the Father's instructions for life-Torah, true worship, and His sacred holy days. Apart from sporadic revivals, this neglect has greatly obscured our true identity and spiritual effectiveness. Are we secure and strong enough to "admit and own" some of these shortcomings...failures really, that should either be corrected or if necessary, avoided. In spite our of good intentions, our misunderstanding of Scriptures His saints (that's us) have trended to (1) fall short of our spiritual potential, (2) adopt a constricted prophetic vision, (3) follow an abbreviated Gospel that promotes a westernized Jesus and an orthodoxy mixed with truth and error, (4) believe the Law of Yahweh has been abolished--a major blunder, (5) ignore the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit--exalting form without the full measure of life transforming power, (6) and regard the strong exhortation to obey Yahweh's commandments as pushing antiquated, Old Covenant legalism. Is this the Almighty One's post-modern will for His people? No, it is not! So then, what does Yahweh our Elohim actually require of us --in plain language? What would be the only true foundation upon which to develop our lives and ministries? 11. Set Apart from Sin

" Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy...ye shall keep my statutes. and do them..." (Lev. 20:7-8).

So, for our improving the Ecclesia's well being and that of the nation also, let's confront the modern Ecclesia's spiritual shortfalls, shall we? It's an important examination. They must first be identified, then owned (admitted), and finally removed. Only then, with major errors being corrected, can a full measure of (1) the Holy Spirit's miraculous ministry and (2) the Torah's fundamental, pure truth become unimpeded, restored and honored. We can be sure that such a prophetically timed campaign will be a blessing to many people. 2 Chron. 7:14; Lam. 2:14; 1 Peter 5:10. Let's be honest. We abide in a nation that is collapsing under the weight of spiritual and secular lawlessness. Anarchy, in fact, remains the real pandemic--the underlying force directing the manifold, infernal upheavals. Our need: To sanctify ourselves thru His truth: His word is truth. See John 17:17-26.

True repentance, individual sanctification, and earnest prayer that is (a) Spirit energized, (b) awash with the Word of Elohim, and (c) commingled with ardent praise lifted up and honoring Messiah Yeshua--is the foremost need of America. This noble truth recovery movement, led by a remnant of faithful contenders, represents a latter-day "last ditch" effort for restoring unadulterated faith to the Body of Messiah and law and order to our wounded, paganized nation. But such a heavenly service, in order to endure and prosper, must rise from an unassailable faith foundation of solid rock, i.e., a base built solely on the Words of Messiah Yeshua. Matthew 7:24-27. Spiritual warfare fought from an unstable, easily breached faith foundation composed of sand and rock--that is, from a substructure built with mixed doctrines and false teaching, is a rash and counter productive exercise. Such is the deficient base upon which the Torah-rejecting, institutional Christendom has been perched for centuries. See Part Two

12. Kingdom of God Constitution

" You Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path..." (Hebrews 4:12).

The posted verse was written before the New Covenant was written and canonized. It references the Torah, Writings, and Prophets. The early Instructions of Yahweh, our Elohim--His Torah, comprise the revelation of the will of God for (a) all Israel, (b) the multinational Ecclesia also, and (c) even mankind. The Torah is Yahweh's "set down" body of laws, precepts, ordinances, and judgments. It is the Almighty's Tree of Life on this planet, so to speak, and is foundational to all Scripture. The living Torah, Yeshua followed His Father's instructions perfectly and by so doing revealed the rich, life dynamics, wisdom, blessings, and even love principles of the Torah. He taught His followers to keep the Torah, and then sent them out to train people in the world to keep it too. Mt. 28:18-20; Romans 1: 5; 16: 26. But before His disciples were fully prepared for service in the Great Commission, Yeshua sent the Holy Spirit to empower them for that task. Acts 1 and 2. Such is the work of the Holy Spirit today in the lives of the believers. Go to the nations again, this time with the Torah and aided with the open, supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit.

It is written: "But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that give freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does" (James 1:25). Keep in mind--the Law (Torah) is the will of Elohim. By the New Covenant's blessing it is internalized in our minds and on our "new" hearts by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Jer. 31:31-33; Ezek. 36:26; John 14:17. We have the will and the power to obey the Torah--His instructions life and worship, and prosper under His care. In Psalm 119:45, the psalmist shares his discovery. He (possibly David) writes: "I will walk in freedom for I have sought out your precepts [laws]"

1. Life is Duty

Comparing the U.S. Marine Corps--and its knowledge of and conformance/loyalty to the (a) Code of Conduct [ethics] based upon the (b) Uniform Code of Military Justice with the modern, westernized Ecclesia and its knowledge of and conformance/loyalty to (a) the holy Scriptures--based upon (b ) the Law and the Prophets.

"Everyone should submit to the governing authorities, as there is no authority except that which God has established" (Rom. 13:1).

In September, 1965, I stepped down from a Greyhound bus at the notorious Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in South Carolina. And behold! I was immediately greeted by a very large, yellow sign with bold red lettering on it. So too were the other wide-eyed recruits who accompanied me. The sober wording declared: "The Marine Corps demands Discipline, Devotion to Duty, and Teamwork." The words requests, please, and thank you were conspicuously absent. Hence, I saw this in-your-face "hello" not merely as a (1) strong recommendation, but for what is was--a (2) foreboding, Old Corps prime directive to be taken literally and very seriously. At that time I had no idea the Marine Corps' espoused standards that are compatible with Scripture's requirements for aspiring disciples of Yeshua. See Matthew 16:24. Anyway, the unfriendly introduction caused my apprehension level concerning the future to spike! This took place during the days of the unforgiving Old Corps, with its stifling wooden barracks, biting sand fleas, heavy M-14 rifles, and other unpleasantries. Yet we recruits learned to respect our duty.

Obedience to Holy Scripture is the Biblical Expression of Love, Faith, and Worship.

Nevertheless, having been (a) deposited on the inhospitable island--a place from which no recruits had ever successfully escaped, and my (b) vowed commitment to military service being irreversible, I took the large, intimidating red words to heart and went forward mentally prepared to comply with the austere demands of the new chapter of life I had chosen. But unknown to me, my forbearance with the Corps' dominance--and the subsequent rigors of Vietnam, initiated a gradual inner transformation that would contribute to conditioning me years later for a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit, and conversion to the Messiah. Beforehand however, I learned quickly how serious the Corps really was concerning its posted fundamental requirements. The yellow sign's stern message was indeed inflexible and vigorously enforced, as if it had been "etched in stone." There was no mincing of words; no equivocation! The matter was settled and there would be no "about face." Recruits-all who had vowed loyalty to the constitution and the service, would (a) learn and (b) march in cadence to ALL the Corps pertinent regulations and fulfill their duties in a satisfactory fashion! Failure of a Marine to obey a lawful order or regulation is a violation of Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. This arrogance is called "Dereliction of Duty" and punishment is closely associated with it. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Do you, friend, observe overt derelictions of the saints in knowing and keeping the instruction of the Most High Elohim? I think most of us fall short of expectations but seem apathetic anyway.

"It is hard to kick against the goads..." (Acts 26:14) but liberating to yield to the Holy Spirit!

It is normal that military inductees, both men and women, relate to the particular branch of service to which they are legally bonded. Disciples of Messiah Yeshua, on the other hand, identify themselves with a divine Person --their resurrected Savior, His Kingdom, and holy words of spirit and life. To Him belongs their (our) first loyalty. John 6:63. The apostle Paul affirmed and lived this faith-bond, and wrote: "But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Messiah" (Phil. 3:7). Yet there are people who claim salvation through faith in Yeshua but do not care to develop a bond of close fellowship with Him or His instructions. These casual saints want liberty from the Law of the Almighty, preferring carnal license and worldly pursuits instead. They are not disciples of the Savior. The Kingdom of God cannot be separated from its Sovereign and His holy standards. To be in the kingdom now is to live by His teaching now! Not later. As it is written: "By this we know that we have come to [truly] know Him, if we keep His commandments." See 1 John 2.:3-6. Plain and simple, yes? Yet western saints, it seems, become easily fascinated by secondary interests and spiritual diversions other than the study of Yahweh's testimony and conformance to the life-changing words of Scripture inspired by the Holy Spirit. And what's more, few choose to become actual disciples of the Savior. A costly blunder, indeed. Though the bullseye--the centrality of the Torah has been made clear, many are still missing the mark. In this era of cultural decomposition rooted in misinformation and spiritual wickedness, Yahweh is meeting a great need of our confused westernized Ecclesia. By His grace common believers are being led by the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13) back to the Father's House, the Torah and sacred Law. This is a tremendous gift of love. His instructions for a holy and productive life, when honored, lead followers to aan overcoming life and the resurrection of the righteous. This love-induced trove marks the terminus of our earthly search for pure, entirely reliable spiritual truth. What do you think, dear reader? We have been given orders, holy instructions to respect and follow--just as have the Marines. But (a) can we, Spirit-born believers in Yeshua compare favorably in honoring--or even knowing and believing, the full measure our Scripture's instructions as faithfully (b) as the Marines know, respect and conform to their General Orders and the Code of Military Justice? I think I know the answer.

"Fear God and Keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man" (Eccl. 12:13).

Our short article--Life is Duty, has constructed an analogy for comparing the prominence and retention of five supreme qualities that are expected to exist within and be maintained by two militant forces. They are wide-ranging conglomerates actually, and both are engaged in law enforcement and are similar. But they are also different. The positive, core character traits or qualities held in focus include (1) unflagging honesty, (2) constructive discipline, (3) devotion to duty, (4) unity based upon a common vision, and (5) persistent maintenance of the unifying ideology that undergirds and inspires corporate integrity and achievement. These are essential requirements, or pillars, that will sustain and invigorate any individual or corporate enterprise--secular or spiritual. The standards should therefore be monitored and upheld--not violated, traded, compromised or replaced. So let's take a cursory look at our two selected "subjects" and evaluate their loyalty in upholding the five common foundational qualities commended above. An honest juxtaposition of common members of each group will tell the tale concerning their current integrity, motivation and prospects of success or failure that can be expected ahead. One Force is secular in nature and the other Force is spiritual. Both however are oriented around law and order. Please take notice that the comparisons are fair and will guide concerned readers to make accurate judgments concerning the integrity of two American institutions. First, a national military service has been selected, and secondly, its counterpart is a traditional religion accepted as a bastion of spiritual truth. The certainty that arises from this seemingly harmless exercise can actually bring about a re-examination of some peoples religious thinking--an inspection that could result in (a) prophetic vision concerning the fundamental purpose of Yeshua and a (b) new world view! If so, a possible recalibration of one's religious orthodoxy is possible. To clarify, Contender's Voice is putting the (a) U.S. Marine Corps and the (b) modern, westernized Christian Ecclesia on opposite platforms (pans) of a scale--or the opposing ends of a teeter-totter, if that helps. Our goal is to determine which side is heavier--or has faithfully held on to its original dogma, and which one is lighter--or has given up and exchanged its charter values and protocols for false, less-substantive and inferior ones. Militant Enforcement Analogy

Yeshua, of the tribe of Judah, was a Torah Teacher and Sabbath Keeper. And He changes not! Hebrews 13:8. He kept His Father's Word perfectly. With that truth in mind, let's look at our two analogy subjects and how they have done living up to our five general qualities which--in one form or another, are universal. Ours include: (1) Honesty, (2) Discipline (3) Devotion to Duty, (4) Compliance with all Regulations and Standards, and (5) Maintenance of the sanctioned fundamental Ideology that undergirds and inspires corporate integrity, achievement, and purpose. It is written: "Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20). People succeed as they strive abide steadfastly within the sphere of excellence. Now, let's look at our two organizations, both of whom have welcomed me, an experienced observer.

The first subject of our analogy, the chosen force--is the U.S. Marine Corps. It reputation spans circa 200 years. It is a (1) temporal and earthbound, but respected military force whose (2) combat is against hostile flesh and blood--humanity. (3) The Corps' allegiance is to a worldly kingdom and its constitution, and (4) it operates in conjunction with its training, provision, and directions from the government. (5) Time of employment is 3 to 30+ years. (6) Wages--not so great. [As a lowly PFC I received $82.23 a month. Pitiful! But McDonald's 3-course meal--one hamburger, a bag of fries that were cooked in real grease, and a small coke cost only .45 cents! The treat compensated me somewhat and soothed my disatisfaction. It was something that fell comfortably within reach of my meager paycheck.] (7) Motto: Semper Fidelis-Always Faithful. (8) Entry into the Corps provides absolutely NO eternal salvation for man or woman. It is a works focused organization. Notwithstanding, the Marine Corps has always been honest zealous of its identity and history, remains undiminished in its courage and patriotism, is continuously reliable, and respected for keeping its original character and constitution-based responsibilities--to this day. The demands on the Yellow Sign are emblazened upon ghe psyche of the collective and form the matrix for its ethos.History bears witness to USMC splendid behavior, sacrifice, and untainted reputation since its birthday--November 10, 1775. This service has high marks for maintaining its beliefs, practices, and service of quality in the face of the devolution of American character. In fact, a leader within the Green Berets told me recently that the Marines are the only service to maintain resistance to wokism's debauchery from making entry into its rank and file, a curse that would foul its hallowed standards. I give the USMC five high marks. You are free to grade its tenacity in holding faithfully to its instructions and values.

The second subject, or chosen force, we bring into the analogy--is the westernized, modern, far flung Ecclesia--or New Covenant Christendom. It is a colossal entity that first devolved from the original Nazarene Israelite apostolic faith birthed by the Holy Spirit on the day Pentecost 2000 years ago in Jerusalem. The subsequent centuries brought forth the development of a hybrid faith referred to as Christianity that was institutionalized by Rome. Rome's Christianity eventually developed into Catholicism. Following the dark ages and its branched out to form Protestantism which mustered mission outreaches and took the gospel to the nations The spread of the Torah-less Gospel to the nations, which proved to be a great blessing to their cultures, but they also comprise a long period of doctrinal and spiritual compromise and disunity. There exists in the western countries well over 1600 disparate Christian denominations, fellowships, alliances, assorted groups that form the four main segments of global Christendom. Notwithstanding, the Ecclesia--which technically is redeemed Israel, is Yahweh's (1) spiritual and heavenly positioned entity and is referenced by Peter as a royal priesthood and a holy nation. It's (2) combat is not again flesh and blood but cosmic, encompasses extra dimensional realm and engages the forces of sentient evil and spiritual wickedness of the heavenly places. The Ecclesia's weaponry is spiritual. See Ephesians 6:12-20 . The (3) institutional ecclesia/church allegiance is to (a) Messiah Yeshua, the Sovereign of the Kingdom of God, and (b) the un-abolished foundation of scriptural truth--the Torah. His (4) Ecclesia's calling is to take the full-Gospel message of salvation and discipleship to the nations, teaching the converts the obedience of the faith, in the power of the Holy Spirit and to (5) Its time of service is fore life and eternity. (6) God supplies all our needs according to His riches in Glory. (7) Here I submit our Contender's Voice motto: Tamid Kadima-Always Forward. (8) Entry into the New Covenant through faith in Messiah Yeshua provides the new birth, the gift of the Holy Spirit, a new birth of the Spirit, with power love and sound mind, salvation and eternal life in the glory of Yahweh, deliverance from the power of sin. and more. I enlisted, so to speak, in the service of Messiah in 1973 and will remain in active service for ever! This service, during the last century, has violated God's commandments to this day. It does not have hive marks. Christendom needs a transfusion of the Torah, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and a revelation of Yeshua that produces respect for His commandments.

In your opinion, which of our entities has consistently honored its foundations and remains commendable and which one has fallen short of its vows and published standards, and is divided and remains in sin by its direct disobedience to YHWH's commandments. The Marine Corps or the Ecclesia at large. needs to recover that which was rejected centuries ago, denuding the traditonaal faith and subduing it from the full benefit that is its spritual inheritance.to fully restore Holy Spirit and Torah realities where these blessed components are sorely needed. Such restoration efforts will bring the discerning, compliant Ecclesia up to its spiritual potential and earthly purposes. The diversified Hebrew Roots Movement, often criticized and maligned, has nevertheless been a leading Hebraic influence promoting the much needed growing, messianic restoration phenomenon. Messiah Yeshua's regathering of the House of Israel from exile will not be deterred by complainers and gainsayers. Amazing. The Corps is doing better respecting it laws without the Spirit than the Ecclesia that, for the most part, is failing yet has the Holy Spirit

So I ask this question: Answer honestly...Do you think incorporated, heavenly Christendom needs to view its responsibility to accept and honor the instructions of their Torah-rooted Scriptures with at least the same measure of respect and fervor as is demonstrated by a worldly military force to its dogma? I certainly do. Shouldn't we be willing to vanquish apathy, reduce our business and sinfulness, and come all the way under Messiah's yoke, and prioritize the Master's prophetic restoration interests above our own? Such a sacrifice and personal and corporate transformationd that would accompany it would lay the foundation of an enduring of revival. A revival of biblical truth. The Ecclesia must face the truth and confront the power of its infernal enemy--the nation is under a demonic spell that has eclipsed backslidden America's old biblical character and mores' and replaced them with aa lawless nature, one that is fully "woke" and blasphemous. Where's the salt [preservation power] and light [revelation; enlightenmentof which Messiah spoke in Matthew. The Word of God foretells the tale: "Righteousness exalts [elevates] a nation: but sin is a reproach [a divine rebuke] to any people" (Prov. 14:3). Is there hope? Yes, b ut are enough saints to form acritcal mass if repentant saintys [new taorh wineskins] to carry the day? It is written: "Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more" (Romans 5:20). In other words: "For whenever sin exists in abundance and is multiplying and constantly expanding. [that's us1] , that is precisely the time and place where grace is poured in a far greater, surpassing quantity." [1] Renner.Org . article

Blessed Church goer, remember what is written to YOU and ME. : "I...appointed you, that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain" (John). Those who are called must persevere in their faith and commitment, aand find a way misister thoroughly to those they serve and teach, in order to raise up a toldot [a generation] in theTorah and glory of YHWH. This is not an option.. The new generation becomes their legacy, their good fruit that remains faithful also in service, preaching, and teaching disciples.

Service personnel are expected to learn and comply with the regulations, general orders, and standards set by the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which governs legal protocol and conduct. And by far, most comply and hence succeed in their mission. They are not YHWH's spiritual force however they can teach us--the saints, a valuable lesson. Though it may seem at first glance that the expectations of the military seem strenuous Nevertheless, once a Marine becomes acclimated to and identifies with the military culture, the weight of compliance is lifted and conforming to military protocol becomes natural. In fact, abiding within righteous and moral standards is inspirational, even up-lifting. The same phenomenon occurs with maturing believers learning to identify with and follow Yeshua's Torah-based commands and teachings. It is written: "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Mt. 11:30). Obedience to the Father's truth is not legalism at all. It is actually (a) an honest expression real love for Yahweh and man, (b) forms the foundation of unadorned biblical worship, (c) produces a blessed lifestyle, and (d) develops a friendship relationship with the Good Shepherd. Anyway, the apathetic and rebellious servicemen who defy honoring their commitment would suffer harsh consequences and the ignominy of a dishonorable discharge...resulting in a wounded life. I learned early on that commitments bring responsibilities. Regarding Christian soldiers, a viable commitment to Messiah and His Kingdom is irrevocablyconnected to conforming one's life to His instructions, again--all that are known, understood, applicable, and doable. Biblical faith employs the call to do as well as we can. God love is everlasting.

With an eye to the selfless love and atonement of the Son of God which were manifested for our sake, wouldn't anything less than demonstrated heartfelt devotion to Him demonstrated by a full commitment to His teaching, and cheerful cooperation with His prophetic purpose, be lukewarm in character and utterly unacceptable for His saints? Yes indeed! Casual faith demonstrated by indifference to His commandments referenced in Revelation 3:16 , is a major offense! Believers also have (1) duties and responsibilities, my Spirit-born friends, and a (2) divine Sovereign--King Yeshua, to whom we have committed ourselves and lives. Such an honest commitment and follow-through welcomes freedom from sinful and worldly bondages, lifts up a restoration oriented view of the Kingdom f Israel, and makes room for a blessed, set-apart future. In short, compliance to divine instructions musters up much soul satisfaction and hope. But are we measuring up to our heavenly appointed spiritual privileges and responsibilities? Eccl. 12:13. Consider: The Marine Corps is noted for achieving victory in combat, even when engaged against a superior force! Such is the fruit of discipline, devotion to duty, and teamwork...and hold fast to their time=tested military code. But in the spiritual perspective, how is the westernized Ecclesia/Church, a royal priesthood comprised of people who belong to the Kingdom of God and are anointed by the Holy Spirit--doing in its earthly and cosmic warfare? Do we, Yahweh's Royal Priesthood and Set-Apart people (1 Peter 2:9), compare a secular entity? Both accomplish necessary works but which one adheres to its set instructions. Well, judging by the (1) lawless nature that still reigns in the secular and spiritual institutions of the nation, the (2) pervasive moral confusion, (3) a the conflicted population that has submitted to reprobate thought leaders and their corrupt persuasions, I would say: "The Marine Corps, amidst their activities, remains loyal to it core code But the Church-for the most part, has not. Though believers should demonstrate the highest, most noble dedication and heart-felt loyalty to the words and standards of their biblical faith and Savior's foremost purposes, we do not measure up. Rather, we have rejected the root of Scriptures--the Torah, do not fully embrace the full ministry of the Holy Spirit, make excuses for ignoring the true Sabbath, and compromise His truth and godly traditions. This egregious host of errors began to take root in the second century of the Common Era and has grown and spread through the early assemblies and teachers of faith that developed later--into Catholic and Protestant Christianity, i.e., manifold Christendom.

We've got to "own" the truth before we can turn around and make meaningful corrections. Nevertheless, let us not be deflated, friends. It is written: "God is able to make all grace abound..." (2 Cor. 9:8). Really? Yes! And He has prepared us a time of grace for this lawless era. What would that be? Enter the election! As viewed by sensible thought leaders, its a (1) reprieve from unresisted advancing lawlessness and morally repugnant wokism, and an (b) opportunity for the nation to repent, turn to prevailing prayer and turn our Ship of State toward righteousness. So, what must be done to remove the demonic spell over the country

Now, years later, I have become a disciple of Messiah Yeshua, and I strive to abide within the commandments, precepts, and instructions of His Kingdom, as do many other saints. However, as a result of my prior military experience, I find myself noticing the western church's systems and orthodoxy from a militant perspective. And I see modern Christianity's obvious failure to clearly and repeatedly prioritize God's standards of discipline, unity, and devotion to duty--which in biblical parlance means (a) sanctification and (b) willing conformity to His sacred instructions. Such are biblical testimonies of sincere faith and love for God and people, and the bedrock of true worship. The militant fervor of the Marine Corps--a worldly organization, is seemingly greater than that of the spirit5ual zeal of the modern Ecclesia--a chosen, heavenly anointed, organization. Should we pla second fiddle to the world's organizaation? Something is wrong. A restoration of the original, Torah rooted, apostolic Nazarene faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3) is needed by the Ecclesia. Where is the starting point leading to the recovery of salvation faith? It is living with a commitment to repentance and humility. The proud heart is not compatible with the favor of God. Keep in mind what is written: "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself [discipline], and take up his cross [devotion to duty] , and follow Me [teamwork]" (See Mt. 16:24-26). This is our path to overcoming evil, success, transformation, blessing, and friendship-fellowship with Messiqah Yeshua our Shepherd. Your promise --->

God has words also, eternal ones etched on stone tablets by the finger of the Almighty thousands of years ago (Exodus 31:18)--long before the yellow sign. His words have endured and found entry into the nations! But in the beginning the commandments etched on the stone tablets pertained only to His chosen nation, Israel. However His Torah-rooted truth is destined to eventually pervade the entire human collective. The day cometh when His sacred truth--not part of it but all of it, will be reinstated and govern the post tribulation world. The application of divine words sent into the nations of the Millennium will be respected and produce the prophesied peace upon the planet which will then brings forth wonderful blessings on entire populations.

Words can take the the listener or reader to truth, success, and freedom, or to error, demise, and failure. Yeshua stressed this reality in Matthew 7:24-27: " ." There is no equivocation or hedging with His teaching. The Son means exactly what He says Matthew.! So, to whose words are you listening? Is what your hear true and useful? Are you sure? What words or teachings are you using to construct your life's foundation and form your--and your family's, legacy? Those who convert to and confess Yeshua as their Savior and Adonai usually find their way to church systems and ministers to study their faith...and end up takeing their teachings and doctrines as absolute. Thus, by their inadequate education they place themselves far from His Law--ignorant of the foundational biblical truth they need as fledging disciples. Psalm 119:150. Even as time passes what churchgoers have regarded as unassailable truth is rarely tested by a personal study of Scripture--with the Spirit of Truth as Guide.

The result is predictable. Christendom--it four main branches and subset organizations, is comprised of pagan teachings and practices, false doctrines and traditions that have, for centuries since its Hebraic-Judaen ethos was rejected, found their way into the religious colossus. Christianity, which has taken the Torah-less Gospel to the nations, has done a good work. Nonetheless, it is doctrinally confused, un-unite, and fallen short of its original Spirit and Torah potential. In fact, it is divided into almost 1600 recognized, incorporated groups. This does not included the thousands of independent Christian denominations and unaffiliated fellowships. Hence, institutional Christianity represents a broad assortment of mixed doctrines, manifold laws, tenets, foci, and traditions, and proud claims. It draws from a smorgasborg of varied scripture translations and theological opinions and positioning itself far from John 17 and Messiah Yeshua and His words. Next: Zeal arouses Obedience.

2. Zeal arouses Obedience

" Phinehas, the son of Eleazar...has turned back my wrath...because he was zealous with My zeal among them" (Numbers 25:10-13).

The Marine Corps requires recruits (enlistees) to diligently adhere to its General Orders and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The regulations and standards make sense for they establish order, values, purpose and a new identity for those thrown into an entirely new, military culture. Now, years later, I am a disciple of Messiah Yeshua, and recalling my prior military experience, I submit these questions to other believers to ponder: First, shouldn't the covenanted saints of the Body of Messiah, Yahweh's "holy nation," be expected to conscientiously follow their defined elevated standards, those clearly specified by the Kingdom of God and its Sovereign, Messiah Yeshua? Should we at least measure up the the standard honored by an esteemed military force?

And secondly, wouldn't their willing compliance display--and inspire, the same fortitude and zeal for their status as is demonstrated by the Marines? Yes to both questions. Further, the commitment to honor the instructions and standards of our King of Glory would definitely encourage others to follow suit. Yahweh's Law--our instructions for (a) life, (b) service, and (c) worship have been given to us in the Torah and are repeatedly endorsed throughout the Scriptures--all of which is Yahweh's blessed gift of divine love. Therefore, it only makes sense that believers would be expected to honor His commandments...to keep them and to guard them by heartfelt conformance. This behavior should be normal for His spiritually elevated people. After all, it is written of us: "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a [redeemed] holy nation, Yahweh's special possession, that you may declare the praise of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9-12). Friends--without deep humility, genuine repentance, continual fervent prayer, and holy zeal--rooted in love for His sacred instructions, any revival that springs up, small or large, will subside soon after the excitement is gone. Do you remember the story of Pinchas? He had zeal! He stopped Israel's fall into idolatry. Take time to read Numbers 25:10-30. Remember especially--Yeshua, who demonstrated great zeal for His Father's House--the Temple. See John 2:17.

3. Action is Required

"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments..." (1 John 5:3)

So be sure, friends--compliance with His commandments--all that are known, applicable, and doable, is no suggestion--it is our duty. But they are not burdensome, rather they are our directions for life and worship. Complaining and citing legalism is an empty exercise, whereby following His instructions constitutes good works. Matthew 5:14-16; Titus 2:14. Rejecting His will sets up a demonic roadblock that interferes with the clean flow of Spirit-anointed exhortation, miraculous power, prophetic enlightenment, and abundant blessing. This lack of true spiritual input dulls the souls and assemblies of his saints and preempts spiritual growth. I repeat--the chief hindrance, i.e., roadblock--to the fullest extent of Elohim's blessing and intimate fellowship is overt disobedience, the rejection of Holy Writ. In Revelation 3:16 this is called--lukewarmness, the product of cooled love! In the Marine Corp, however, this is called "insubordination." It is a blatant failure to obey legal orders that are consistent with military protocol and the U.S.Constitution. Such defiance constitutes a violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. A dishonorable discharge and a rather unpleasant stay in a Marine Corps brig await the transgressor. Obedience is the true expression of our (a) love for God and our neighbors, (b) salvation faith, and the (c) bedrock of genuine worship. Purposeful disobedience--lawlessness, is the hairy fly fouling the honey. I certainly do not want that spread on MY toast, do you? Therefore, comply with His Torah, as did your Savior. It is written: "Love Yahweh your Elohim and keep his requirements, his decrees, His laws and his commands always" (Deut. 11:1).

4. Distinction is Honorable

"Come out from among them and be ye separate" (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

Marines are separated from the pursuits of civilian life and are focused on serving the interests and needs of the Corps and its Commandant. Sadly, research informs us that the institutional Ecclesia-at-large and most its members are not really separated from the world or entirely sanctified, and consequently poorly motivated for selflessly serving the restorative interests of the Messiah. We tend to cherry pick from Scriptures only what we are comfortable with doing; only that which does not makes strong demands upon our lives. Hence the Ecclesia remains ill-equipped and unable to fully discharge Kingdom instructions, responsibilities, and goals. The weak spiritual profile of westernized, backslidden Christendom--a worldwide colossus, testifies to its shortage of spiritual power and Torah instruction. Let's cut to the chase. Westernized Christianity's relationship with divine truth can be labeled, pretty much, as non compliance--both corporately and at the personal level. Heavenly orders are usually shrugged away. Denominational tenets twist the Word, distort grace, and open wide the broad gate to the spiritually blind. Keep in mind, a "holy nation" references the saints. And the body of believers is called to be (a) set-apart from the ungodly standards, morals, and values of the spiritually dark, morally deficient world we inhabit. Friends, many believers--myself included, are finally realizing that the restoration of the warp and woof of Elohim's unadulterated Torah truth to the Body of Messiah is an existential necessity. And by the grace of Elohim, this whole-truth restoration hope of a spiritual awakening that's most needed, is already underway. Bless His holy Name! The Torah-Hebraic roots movement is prophetic in nature and a genuine work of true compassion that can satisfy the fundamental needs of the secular and spiritual realms of our corrupted culture and bring our lives into Kingdom order. This is very good! Henceforth, may we be found restoring Yeshua's kingship standards--the original foundations of biblical faith which reflect the qualities named on Parris Island's yellow sign--self-discipline, devotion to sacred duty, and teamwork-unity wrought in love by the Spirit of Elohim. Faithful ones, we have been "born-again" and are strong enough, with the help of Yahweh our Elohim, to see this through.

5. Part One

Listen Carefully

"My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn; open your ears to my sayings..." (Prov. 4:20).

Brethren, the responsibilities we undertake once we commit to being a bonafide disciple of our Savior, Messiah Yeshua, requires attention to detail when reading the Word of Elohim and listening to His Spirit. You and I might be surprised, encouraged, or even delighted with what is revealed by our Elohim to our hearts and minds when we convene with Him in prayer and study. Luke16:10; John16:13. He is a provider, protector and shield, healer, an instructor, and more to His people. He also speaks to us--by His Word, His Spirit, and with His still small voice! Is. 55:1; 2Tim. 3:16-17); John 8:47; 1 Kings 19:12; Jer. 33:3; Deuteronomy 12:28. Luke 11:28; Proverbs 16:20; etc. The Sacred Torah-rooted Word repeatedly exhorts believers to be (a) attentive to the Words of Yahweh, our Elohim, (b) quick to hear and respond to Yah's personally applied Scripture (rhema), all of them, and (c) prepared to conform and contend "with all your might" for Torah truth and His blessed instructions. The casual, westernized Ecclesia [Church] of Yeshua would benefit significantly from putting His foundational all His applicable precepts into practice instead of shunning them. The response of His people to God's commandments has both temporal and eternal consequences, as you know. Therefore, consider these several examples below given to encourage us and showcase the value of paying attention to--not only the big things associated with duty, but especially the seemingly smaller things. A wise distinction can make the difference between success and failure, even attaining eternal life or suffering the second death. Several examples follow:

First: Noah paid very close attention to the God-given instructions and their details for building the Ark. Scripture does not report any loose planks or leaks as it floated about on the stormy flood waters that covered the planet. Genesis 7:17-20. The wooden ship was water bound for one year and hence we conclude that Noah and his help took no shortcuts but followed the heaven sent blueprint exactly. But if they had--)...leaks in the Ark that would make it list and displace the animals to one side, and then roll over and sink in the tumultuous waters. Result: And empty post-diluvian world.

Secondly: Moses was commanded to built the Tabernacle, the tent which was destined to be Yahweh's earthly dwelling place among the Israelites. Moses was instructed to be careful to built it and all its many accoutrements precisely according to every rigid detail. The Tabernacle thus was constructed, with all its furnitures, et al, compliant with Yahweh's holy pattern. And he did so without the slightest compromise. Exodus 25:8-9. But if the Tabernacle to be an improperly built and poorly joined by apathetic builders--thus rendering it to be unsanctioned by Yahweh and rejected, made void of His presence and glory among the Hebrews, prevented the nations sacrifice system, and no pillar of fire or cloud to lead Israel in the wilderness or promised land to enter.

Thirdly, Elijah the prophet, fearing Jezebel's threats, retreated to a cave in Mount Horeb and there the LORD visited him and passed passed by with powerful prophetic visions of wind, an earthquake, and a fire which spoke of future of Elijah and Israel. 1 Kings 19:12-13. But after those powerful encounters came forth their meaning was given by Yahweh's the still soft voice. But it was Yah's whisper that assured the prophet of his constant fellowship with Him. It was following the fire that a gentle whisper came and Elijah heard it and received His instructions of the Almighty concerning who he was to anoint. with oil and thus animatge their calling and destinies. Elijah was (1) encouraged, not so much by the splendid visions but by Yahweh's gentle compassionate voice and care for him. Further he learned the work of YHWH goes forth not by the might or invention of man but "by My Spirit" saith the LORD But if Elijah had not listened to the still soft voice of Yahweh Elohim, Israel's history would have been different and Elisha would not have been anoint. have you heard Him say

Fourthly, Yeshua Himself instructed His Nazarene followers to build their lives on all His clear, un-compromised commandments which comprised the body of His teachings, and this they did without wavering. Matthew 7:24-27. But if they had not listened--there would have no. generations to take thegospel to the nations.

Fifthly, John the apostle was commanded to write on a scroll the entire Revelation given to him by Yeshua on Patmos. He was ordered to record his encounter with the risen Messiah, teaching about the seven assemblies, the seven seals, seven thunders and trumpets, seven woes, assorted visions and much foretelling of future events that would lead up to, and even be part of, the Tribulation period. He undertook to obey the command to "write' and completed the labor with unerring detail so that those who read the prophetic words of the revelation could be blessed and confidently take to heart what has been faithfully scribed. But if He had failed--clumsy misprints and errors to occur throughout the Revelation thus rendering it unreliable and unable to be a blessing or guide! Result: The bride of Messiah would not have a prophetic vision nor be prepared for His appearance. Revelation

Finally, postmodern saints (you and me) have been directed by the Word of Elohim also. It is written: "This is love for God: to obey His commandments" (1 John 5:3). Each ordinance [command, precept, law, judgment], from the greatest to the "not so well known"... has its place and is important to each person, family, and society. Common believers in Yeshua as the risen Messiah, are called to listen with the heart and seek to learn and obey His instructions, even the details. But have we--who form the bulk of Yahweh's Ecclesian [Christian] faith done so? Well, reliable Barna polls, common observation, and years of ministerial experience--form a chorus that says--No! The lamentable national result of our spiritually regressive nation backsliding is (a) plague of lawlessness, "wokism" that leavens and corrupts our secular and even spiritual institutions, and the loss of our once respected American ethos, among other setbacks. Even though believers have been "born again"--that is, regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith in Yeshua the Son, and have been elevated to know Yeshua and abide in the Word of God, we nevertheless opt instead to cherry-pick from the Tree of Life that which is compatible--not interruptive, leaving us to pursue the American Dream and our worldly interests. We have exchanged new age theosophies and scientism put biblical truth on the shelf.

It is true, isn't it--that today's saints interpret grace as freedom from following God's sacred law and are thus released to adhere only to that which we prefer and won't interfere with our lifestyles. This neglect constitutes the problem and weakness of the westernized Ecclesia and our backslidden nation as well, isn't it? What do you think about turning around, heading for the light and submitting to our Creator's full spread of pertinent, doable truth, persistent reader? The election has inspired hope for a fresh political start for the nation and an opportunity to restore law and order. This restoration initiative--a push back of lawlessness, is the work grace. Consider what is written: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God; not by works..." (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace is an expression of Yahweh's everlasting love, active compassion, and mercy. For this you and I can rejoice! Good things are within reach for us who follow Him and trust His words: "But He said, Yea rather blessed are those who hear the word of Elohim and keep it" (Luke 11:28). So, do not be disqualified by unrighteous living! The notion "once saved, always saved" is a widespread false and dangerous deception that leads beguiled saint on the broad road to destruction and the second death--the Lake of Fire! Revelation 19:20; 20:10. That is a terrifying prospect. It is why Yeshua said, "strive to enter through the narrow gate" (Luke1:24). Do not be disqualified but remember--where sin abounds God's grace abounds even more. Hesaling is with reach, after all the national elections has pushed back judgement and enlivened the hopeful for a spiritual awakening. Small things are big things. Part Two: 6. Compliance produces Success Listen Carefully

" But He said, Yea rather blessed are those who hear the word of Elohim and keep it" (Luke 11:28).

Many who claim to be Messiah's followers today seem to prioritize pursuing spiritual fascinations, mystic experiences, or captivating but false teachings other than personally settling upon the clear admonitions and instructions of Scriptures. Worldliness, pride, and lust are strong deterrents to the Spirit of Truth (John 14:17; 16:13) Hence the Spirit of Truth inspires believers to bear Messiah Yeshua's yoke, which constitutes submitting to His words and interests, and developing His character in the process. We would benefit greatly by yielding to the urging of the Spirit of Elohim. This commitment represents the strait gate and narrow path--the way of Torah wisdom of which our Messiah spoke. But despite His admonition few believers are willing to conform their lives to His words. Matthew 7:14; 24-27. If asked about repenting and bringing themselves into compliance of Yahweh's sacred laws, the common response concerning their half-hearted interest in doing so would probably be something like this: "Oh well, I've tried..I feel my faith practice is okay...it's close enough." That uncooperative disposition is ubiquitous among busy, institutionalized churchgoers today. Lackadaisical attitudes of that sort, had they accompanied our highlighted faith heroes (mentioned earlier) in their assignments, undoubtably would have produced flaws, errors, and finally disastrous results.

Four levels of interpretation: PRDS: Pashat, Remez, Drash, and Sod

Is it any wonder that a considerable measure of traditional Christianity, with its biblical foundations crumbling beneath it and replaced by compromised supports--is presently morphing into Progressive Christianity. Of course this new woke, syncretic (hybrid) religion fits comfortably into worldly societal norms and declares, among other falsehoods, that there are multiple roads to salvation? This is confusion of the infernal order! Friends, the details of Holy Writ prove beneficial by providing needed and interpretation and clarity for instructions. Scripture interprets Scripture. By ignoring them we have wandered far from the divinely sanctioned apostolic, Torah-based "faith once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3) Yet, by His grace our eternal Father is drawing the saints back to His house. Luke 15:11-32. A growing number of dissatisfied believers have come to stand at a crossroads and ask, "...where the good way is..." See Jeremiah 6:16. The prophet is pointing out the right path for the covenanted believer.. Conclusion: We need to engage the "whole truth" awakening underway now. Casual response is tantamount to lukewarmness--and rejection by the Savior. So, come aboard, and obey His commandments--all that are known, applicable, and doable. 7. Recovery is Assured

" Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations..." (Isa. 58:12) .

Today's diverse Hebraic Roots Movement, though it (1) is known by different names and varied foci, and (2) suffers much criticism and censure--is nevertheless a prophetically timed work of Yahweh's grace. Taken as a whole, its widespread favorable impact on restoring vacated truth to the nation's needy Ecclesia is very apparent. It is His love-based venture for rescuing the (a) doctrinally fragmented western Ecclesia from its free fall into spiritual irrelevance and the (b) population of America from the strangle hold of apostasy. Both the spiritual and secular domains of the expiring culture need spiritual recharging and moral renewal. He is accomplishing this by awakening and drawing His saints--first, to prayer and deep repentance; secondly, to the validity of His holy Torah; thirdly, to our Israelite heritage and purpose; fourthly, to the full ministry of the Holy Spirit, and fifthly, to the prophetic vision necessary for serving Yeshua--our Torah teacher, in the latter days of the reunification the houses of Judah and Joseph. Many saints recognize this for what it is -- a comprehensive awakening from spiritual lethargy, false and mixed doctrines, the heavy demonic spell of worldliness, and the profound spiritual forgetfulness of the Ecclesia--especially of the returning exiles of the House of Israel. Again, Contender's Voice teaches that Yahweh's compassionate desire is to restore the pure Nazarene faith "once for all delivered to the saints" to the incorporated, westernized Body of Messiah--or at least a core awakened remnant thereof. He will gather, He will restore all....use more scriptures about Yeshua and prophesy.

8. Torah is Life

"Let us hear the conclusion [purpose of life]...fear [reverence] God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man [what we were created for]" (Eccl. 12:13)

Yahweh, our Elohim is great, and worthy to be praised! Psalm 145:3. He is bringing His covenanted, Spirit-regenerated saints back to the cleanness of His unadulterated Word -- the Torah, and paving the way for regathering the saints in exile. This is a great, existential blessing by which, in time, many people will be spiritually transformed and benefited. Again, be sure to understand this restoration phenomenon is not a human-generated enterprise. The Hebraic-based Torah restoration movement is a prophetically timed phenomenon of Yahweh. I repeat--it brings to us the precise spiritual awakening needed by the (1) doctrinally impaired American Ecclesia--the assembly in the wilderness, and the (2) morally bankrupted, demonized nation as well. However, the Ecclesia must become distinct from the dark world systems, set-apart for Her King, and strengthened for "Book of Acts" service again. Renewal is needed for another righteous cause--the of the work of the Great Commission that, this time, would includes the Torah! Matthew 28:18-29; Isaiah 43:18-19. But much sympathetic, visionary help is needed for the great undertaking, and also for building five-fold unity among the numerous multi-varied Torah returnees. Ephesians 4:11. A dis-jointed body of arguing believers sitting in home groups usually does not accomplish much. So join the restoration effort, enroll in Contender's One-Year College, become a leader, and help bring order and direction to the broad but divided Torah movement. Volunteerism is requisite. Therefore, please pray for believers to come forth and serve the Messiah during their stay on earth, as did the apostles. We--modern westernized saints, must keep our vision focused (a) upon our salvation obligations as Torah contenders and Yeshua's friends, (b) upon the welfare of those we serve, and (b) upon eternity.

9. Purpose is Visionary

"And the God of all grace...will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast" (1Peter 5:10).

We close our summary with this affirmation: Contender's Voice is an advocate of and participant in (1) the Hebraically oriented Torah recovery movement, (2) the restoration of the original apostolic Nazarene faith and its Hebrew calendar, (3) the reunification of the two houses of Israel, Judah and Joseph, (4) the assertion of Israelite identity that belongs to the saints of Yeshua--the returning House of Israel, (4) the support of the full ministry of the Holy Spirit, (5) the renewal of the Great Commission with the Torah and led by the five-fold ministry, and (6) the confirmation of the faithfulness of Yahweh fulfilling His covenantal promises to Israel through His Son, Messiah Yeshua--our resurrected Jewish Torah Teacher and ascended High Priest. Actively pursuing the restoration of these biblical foundations, which are included in the "faith once for all delivered to the saints," is Contender's Voice reason-for-being.

10. Salt and Light

"You are the salt of the earth [a positive influence preserving truth and morality]...you are the light that gives light to [enlightens] the world" (Mt. 5:13-16).

In his second epistle to Timothy, Paul rebukes those maintaining a comfortable, outward religious form but denying the divine power that could sanctify, heal, and transform sinful people...and bring down the strongholds of spiritual darkness which our many lives. See 2 Cor. 10:1-5; 2 Tim. 3:5. In any case, the wobbly old foundations on which many believers and their assemblies have camped are indeed lacking in the full measure of Torah based truth and the unabridged ministry of the Holy Spirit, as we have mentioned already. However, I am happy to report that there is a Holy Spirit inspired renewal underway. One could call it a "truth restoration movement." It is providing vision for correcting the modern Ecclesia's defective orthodoxy and restoring the original apostolic faith taught by Yeshua and His early Apostles. As we go forth then, with Spirit and Word empowered prayer for a broad-based spiritual awakening launched from solid rock platforms, we will experience a considerably greater degree of victory over both the spiritual and secular enemies of Yahweh's Word. And if our labors are based and fixed upon the foundation of His words only--then our needed "truth awakening breakthrough" will preempt the demonic spell [an infernal smog] over this nation, drive it back into hell, and release multitudes from spiritual darkness to envision Messiah and His Kingdom. This is the responsibility of Yeshua's army of Spirit-born saints. Matthew 20:18-20. Returning to and conforming our lives and faith with the (1) King's ancient Torah foundations and (2) the leadership of the Holy Spirit are tantamount to restoring the western Body of Messiah as the much needed"salt and light ministry" of the earth. See Matthew 5:13-15. Such compassionate efforts of renewal are the fruits of heavenly wisdom. And blessed reader, be sure of this--wisdom is the chief weapon of our very real spiritual warfare. /// See James 1:5.

11. Concluding Lesson - 2 Parts

Parsha Chayei Sarah ("Sarah's Life")

Part One 4.5 Minutes

Our weekly parsha is "Chayei Sarah." See Genesis 23:1-25:18. It opens this way: "And Sarah was one hundred and seven and twenty years old: these are the years of Sarah's life" (B'resheet/Genesis 23:1). Sarah was (a) the beloved and faithful wife of Abraham, (b) the mother of the promised seed, Isaac, and is (c) considered as the spiritual mother of all believers, the heirs of salvation. (Gen. 17:16). When she died Sarah was 127 years old, and during her long lifetime she emerged from being skeptical of YHWH's promises to become a person of faith. She is the only woman whose age is mentioned in the Scriptures. This fact indicates that discipleship and maturing in salvation truth and faith is a worthy pursuit, but is a lifetime commitment requiring love and effort also. Are you ready to commit to the most noble and needed vocation on earth?

The parsha begins with the death of Sarah and closes with the death of Abraham. But this particular Torah reading highlights Sarah's fruitful life. Old age had overtaken them in their respective times, but not before they had fulfilled their service and accomplished all of which YHWH had set before them. Genesis 12:1-4. They were both sterling examples of good and faithful servants who adhered to the words of God's instructions, even in the face of trials and under demanding circumstances. The couple did not turn away to worldly attractions, bond with pagan neighbors, or compromise their focus on Yahweh, the one true God--known to them as El Elyon. In a word, they were loyal and adhered to the hope of His promise. Genesis 12:1-5. Keep in mind, friend, our lives are not judged by our religious busyness or worldly accomplishments but according to our faithful adherence to YHWH's eternal truth, all that (a) has been made known, (b) is relevant and applicable, and (c) doable. Therefore, we who claim Messiah Yeshua as Savior and Adonai should take what is written seriously: "Moreover it is required of stewards that a man/woman be found faithful" (1 Cor. 4:2). Dear reader, we can be inspired and instructed by the lives of Abraham and Sarah, our faithful and enduring mentors. Once they left for Canaan--the undisclosed land not known to them, they never turned back to their old, familiar home in Mesopotamia. Rather, Abraham and Sarah entered into Canaan with their servants and stock, and made it their new homeland. Our spiritual father and mother prospered as they resided under the cover of providential care promised by their covenant keeping Creator!

By their humble submission to the command of YHWH, preparation for Elohim's fulfillment of the prophetic promise of Genesis 3:15--(a) the advent of the Messianic Seed--Yeshua, the living Torah, (b) the spiritual enlightenment of the nations, and ultimately, (c) the redemption and restoration of creation--was set in motion. See Romans 8:19.The obedience of Abraham and Sarah occurring on earth would eventually reach from earth into the cosmos. Thus, one man and one woman comprised the humble means Elohim used to ignite His prophetic purposes. Learn: He will use you and me also for a significant purpose, but we must remember--obedience to Elohim's love-based instructions is the KEY to discerning heavenly vision and strong faith! In any case, Abraham and Sarah became "ebers," or the first Hebrews. Eber is the root of the word Hebrew and it refers to being a "crossover," or one who makes a decision, moves from one thing to another, and never turns back. Spirit-born believers are "ebers" also but only if they move away from what is incompatible with Holy Writ and remain set apart to their biblical faith and purpose. If any believer is only a talker (many are) but not a walker--they do not qualify for the esteemed moniker of "eber." (James 1:22). Have you--over time, softened your commitment and service for the risen Messiah? Remember Matthew 10:33. Do not forget Revelation 2:1-7.

Some hear but don't fear, and thereby dismiss King Solomon's wise counsel. Take Ecclesiastes 12:13 to heart, friend. Anyway, Abraham and Sarah obeyed Yahweh's commandments without complaint, and waited for the fulfillment of His promises. Their very presence in Canaan, it can be said--spiritually elevated the land and favorably influenced their neighbors, some of whom were hostile. How many saints today bother to emulate the loyalty of Sarah and can claim they have produced a spiritually healthy influence on their land and neighbors? By comparing the standards of Scripture against the testimony of our country's secular and religious lawlessness--only a few, it seems. Again, the biblical measure of a servant's life is found in his/her relationship to Elohim, His Word, and their righteous impact upon the their homeland's citizenry--as expressed in the Torah, the Tanakh, and the Apostolic Scriptures. Selah.

Post Script--Chayei Sarah.

It's time to raise up the discarded faith foundations!

"What has been will be again. What has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun" (Eccl. 1:9).

Part Two 4.5 Minutes

The parsha reading highlighting Sarah and the "crossover" she and Abraham made from Mesopotamia to Canaan is a process that is being repeated today, although in a different way. You could say that Abraham's and Sarah's crossover from the old life to the new one--a move sanctioned by YHWH, is a forecast for what is occurring in this era. Today, the Holy Spirit is leading believers to make a spiritual transition, that is, to "crossover" from (a) errant traditional religion that has been altered and modernized to the (b) pure faith that embraces the Torah and Spirit realities which characterized the faith of the original, apostolic Nazarene disciples of Yeshua. The institutional Ecclesia has westernized the Savior and His Gospel. Contender's Voice preaches an Israelite Yeshua who was a Jewish Torah teacher and Sabbath keeper while on earth. Those who cross over to the restored truth the Spirit of Elohim is holding up for believers to see and recover--will be Ebers.

In this era Believers are being called in the same way as the forerunners old, only we--a growing remnant, are leaving traditional syncretized, institutional religion behind and crossing over to (1) the fulness and vitality of our Hebraic Torah-based faith and (2) the renewal of the full, miraculous ministry of the Holy Spirit. His gifts are usually missing in our messianic meetings. Religious form without the full allotment of provided holy power is equivalent to a boxing match with one contestant who fights another but with one arm only--far below his potential. This could be the reason the incorporated Ecclesia has a poor won-loss record for its contests with the sentient forces of spiritual wickedness. It is not fully equipped and thus operates without its God-given equipment and potential--having rejected its Hebraic identity, vision, purpose, and Spirit and Torah foundation. The debris of our culture's spiritual and moral degradation, that is scattered about the nation lies in view of everyone, bears witness that the preservation and enlightenment ministry of spiritual "salt and light" have greatly diminished. What do you think, reader? I think we must have a widespread spiritual awakening--one that extends from sea to shining sea, from the fruited plains to purple mountain majesties, from the stadiums to living rooms to the barrooms, and beyond.

May God come down and shed His grace on us one more time. But if there is no significant measure of real repentance and the abandonment of wickedness among the states and their residents, and if our affection for the world's darkness prevails instead, God's long suffering will end and our constitutional republic will become unprotected spiritually and given ver completely to the control of infernal strongholds and a very dark future. This crossover [restoration of ancient faith] is a blessing brings the traveler to spiritual renewal, rebuilds the sense of purpose, sharpens prophetic vision, and sensitizes ebers--those who make a crossover, to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is well worth the effort that change requires. Hence, Elohim has spoken this word personally to many of us saying: "Thus saith Yahweh, Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is and walk in it; And you will find rest for your soul..." (Jeremiah 6:16a). This is an exhortation to recover the abandoned paths and ways of the Torah.

As did Abraham and Sarah, you are one who has heard YHWH's summons--only this time you, like me, are being inwardly prompted by the Holy Spirit to return to the unadulterated apostolic Nazarene faith which exalts Messiah Yeshua and includes the Torah, the Sabbath and Feasts, and the full ministry of the Holy Spirit. These indispensable standards were abandoned in the fourth century CE and replaced by distorted interpretations of Scripture pagan falsehoods and errors. It is time to recover un-compromised, unmixed truth! The original sanctioned faith of the Nazarenes, as taught by Yeshua and strictly adhered to by the apostles and early disciples, did not harbor the harmful mischief of false teachings and doctrinal error, but was pure and without need of any addition or reduction of words, doctrinal adjustments, or traditions. This "truth restoration" movement, though varied and in need of maturing, is a prophetically time recovery phenomenon to which people are responding.They want the original apostolic faith recovered.

America is under a demonic spell, folks, with a flood of manifold wickedness leavening the land, bringing malaise upon the public, and undermining its original founding virtues. YHWH wants a restored remnant of saints, young and older, living upon and fighting their spiritual conflict from the faith foundation build upon the solid rock of His truth. So lets abandon the sand foundations--they have proven to be a disaster for the church over the centuries. Adhere to Yahweh's building code and you and I will do well. Bio

Hutch Church is the founder of Contender's Voice Ministry. He was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1945. He graduated from Annandale High School, VA, in 1964. Further, Hutch served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965-1969, during which time he spent a 13 month tour of duty with the infantry in Vietnam. In 1975 Dr. Hutch graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In 1977 he married Patricia Howard. They moved to Cape Cod, MA, and there they raised their four children. In 1979 Hutch and his wife Patti--who also graduated from USF, converted to faith in Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) and entered into ministry. Hutch went on to earn three diplomas from the Berean School of the Bible while he helped establish and work for Maranatha Christian Academy. During this time Hutch became a licensed minister with Maranatha Assembly of God in Falmouth, MA. He served faithfully until 1984 when he and his family moved to Tulsa, OK. In 1986 he graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Masters Degree in Education Administration. From there the Church family moved back to Cape Cod, settled in Mashpee, and pioneered Jubilee Christian Fellowship and its offshoot, Siloam Outreach Network. Hutch was ordained by Victory Ministerial Association in 1987 and later both Hutch and Patti were ordained by Christian International in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. After coming to an awareness of the Hebrew origins of Christianity in 2003, he resigned his pastorate to pursue a more in depth understanding of the subject. Dr. Church graduated from Christian Leadership University in 2006 with a Doctorate of Ministry degree focused on Christianity's heritage and the reunification of the tribes of Israel.
