    " ...and He [the LORD of Hosts] shall send them a saviour, and a great one...(Isa. 19:20)     2 Minutes

What is messianism [or messianic-ism ] ?  It's a word not often heard, yet it addresses an important hope especially relevant to these latter days, and thus should attract the attention of each of His modern saints. That's us, dear reader. In fact, it is a front row spiritual topic among many Jewish and Christian followers of Yeshua. Yet, messianism is not a new belief. Hopeful utopian messianic concepts, though varied, are found in numerous religions including Zoroastrianism  Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism. One could call it an intuitive hope, a cognitive realization, or even a rational expectation of a needed savior manifesting at some point to lead  humanity into a golden age of peace and prosperity. This idealistic hope has been said to be infused in the collective, subconscious realm of mankind--a heavenly persuasion...For which theEarth and even thd whole creation waits in eager expectation.  

Perhaps such a profound yearning can be expressed as an element of conscience prompting the imagination of humanity. In any case, Messianism is a belief that a messianic figure will arise as a savior and leader to come forth and (a) deliver humankind from its inbred self-destructive, sinful nature, (b) vanquish the dreadful oppression of sentient spiritual evil that overwhelms the world (1 John 5:19), and (c) establish on Earth a messianic kingdom stabilized upon un-compromised spiritual truth, moral purity, and characterized by peace, prosperity, justice, and mutual love. See Matthew 22:34-40. Though the messianic hope, we are told, has been widespread among ancient religions and people groups yet none have accurately described, with prophetic clarity and timing, the identity and advent of the true messianic figure and his kingdom--with the exception of the holy Hebrew Scriptures. 

2.  Messiah

"...suffering servant..." (Isaiah 53:5).    1.5  Minutes

Is Yeshua the long awaited Messiah? Yes! He said so Himself when asked by Israel's High Priest: " Art thou the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed? He [Yeshua] answered, 'I am' " (Mark 14:61) It is important for us to understand that the messianic hope is taking form. The latter days are here. and Yeshua must be recognized for who he really is.and what He is.  doing. Yeshua our Messiah has already announced and begun his messianic work. It is written:  Yeshua inaugurated Messianic age Luke 4:18.    "The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the... and....(see Luke 4:18-30). Judah and Israel to be reunified and made into one nation, one  Kingdom again. 1 John 2:6. To follow Yeshuaa and His Torah life. blind--sight -- see Torah ; the lame to walk out the Torah ;  lepers cleansed and forgiven ; deaf to hear with yhe heart YHWH's truth and want to follow it ;  spiritually dead enlightened and raised up ; poor in spirit have.the gospel of salvation and restoration preachedo them ; Messiah is restoring personal lives and initiating the regathering lost sheep of the house of Israel--.....Judah and Ephraim. and moving forward to the restoration of the fallen tabernacle of David--the monarchy. "Here is my servant...I will put my Spirit on Him and he will bring justice to the nations..." Restoration Scriptures Pg 926-927. "...the exiles of Israel who need spiritual sight restored, freedom from bondage and sin, and remarriage to their king. The concept here is one of liberty, or jubilee for the exiles of the nations. luke 4:18-30.--The official announcment that Israel's  time of national exilde was over and that the regathering process had begun that very dasy in that synagogue.."       Promise:

3.   Gathering

"I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them" (Jer. 23:3). 2 Minutes

"Gathering Israel -- the primary mission of Yeshua...the parable of the prodical son returning. to his father's house and older brother is a picturer of ephraim return...HR is the means    There are. many Jewish and Christian people who disparage, ridicule, and ostracize the Hebrew Roots return-to-Torah movement. Regardless of. the naysayers and controversies however, Yeshua will not be deterred from His systematic, prophetic course of reunifying the two houses--Judah and Ephraim, and restoring the Davidic Monarchy to Israel. Keep in mind--if Yeshua, following the feeding of thousands of people  wanted all the scraps of bread and fish picked up and placed into baskets how much more will He be sure all of those in exile will be found and recovered also. Refers to israel people and the dispersed of IsraelGathering through the New Covenant. Yeshua is gathering His messianic saints.              Promise:

4.   Transitioning to Torah

                        "Hear O Israel! Yahweh is your Elohim. Yahweh is One"  (Deut. 6:40).

Scripture details the sacredness and goodness of divine law. It is perfect, affirmed to be true by experience, and authoritative. Holy Writ demands beleif, revefrence, and heartfelt compliance.  Faithfulness to comply with YHVH's Law brings a. person i to closer  alignment and pesonal communion with Him....It has been said that if. .one follows the footprints of a man, sooner or later  he will comeacross that man...Likewise as a man follows hard after the Words of YHVH  sooner than later he will find himself at the threshhold  of his hallowed and glorious Presence. following sacred law by the empowerment of the Holy is the pathway to spiritual progress... and maturity and enlightenment..., and friendship intimacy  with yeshua... Spirit. Go the way of Yeshua...Torah...

Believers are awakening...to YHWH's    spiritual roots. being drawn by HSA complete transition from traditional Christianity to Torah based, Spirit-oriented, Yeshua focused discipleship  and genuine messianic faith does no occur overnight for the average Christian beleiver. . Learning, changing, and adjusting shold be gradual , compatible to an effect learning curve. Simply, Hebraic enculturation, such as honoring the Sabbath and the feasts [moedim] of Israel requires time and major life style adjustments for the westerner.   The changeover should be thoughtful and step-by-step, and led by the Holy Spirit. > Rapid immersion into Israelite-messianic culture is not necessarily the best  course. , Also, while a bleiever  begins to learn his or her biblical heriotage, CV does nor recommend his/her imediate abandonement of the church. Wirthdraw timed and led by the almighty is best... after all, some of that which pertains to  the church is biblical.. We are opposed to harsh, critacal, superior...and denunciatory  attitudes toward christianity pr messianic brethren with differing customs or interpretations of Scripture... My we remember pual s words " Not that I have already attained it or have already  become perfect, but i press on..." (Phil. 3:12-16).

Believers from many different backgrounds and assorted tradtions are awakening to and recovering their biblical Israelites roots..  This will result in spiritual renewal and blessing for the Body of Messiah. Notwithstanding, at the early stages of of restoration period the returnees  progress will vary and be controversial, likely engendering  resistence from famil and friends,..    degrees of beleivers success in assimilating to their Hebraic origins  will differ... Consider Acts 15:13-29)...Thus the recognition  and rejection of non-biblical beleifs and religious practices  on the part of the restoration saints   reurnbing to to gain their heritage. into which they are grafted and set by divine dcecree...   Anyway, as the restoration phenomenon cproceeds, let us who are already underway remember to serve and assist others on the same journey  anmd be helpful , n ot critical and corrective... Comment 1

Identity and Legacy

"...you Gentiles...though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in..." (Rom. 11:17).   2 Minutes

Contenders Voice can be likened to a "wild olive shoot," a branch grafted into a cultivated olive tree--Israel, and called to bear the good fruit of the Kingdom of God. Romans 11:11-24 and Luke 9:2. What a blessing! Hence we are a Bible-based ministry that supports the multifaceted Hebrew Roots Restoration Movement, known also as the Hebraic Truth Revival. The phenomenon--a prophetically related occurrence pointing toward the regathering of the tribes of Israel, has other names and titles as well. Contenders Voice identifies with this current spiritual restoration movement, and ipso facto is bonded to the pure Torah-rooted orthodoxy of the original New Covenant, Nazarene faith "...once for all delivered [entrusted] to the saints" (Jude 1:3). This would be the pentecostal, Book of Acts assembly that exemplified the virtues of Spirit and Torah ministry. As a matter of fact, it is from the first century's spiritually stable Nazarene sect, called the "Way," that a non-compliant, hybrid branch of Gospel faith emerged which became labeled as Christianity. This new orthodoxy grew and was eventually nationalized in Rome. In due course it spread into the nations taking with it a Torah-less Gospel. Nonetheless, the two religious faiths holding Yeshua is common are different from one another in origin, doctrine, prophetic perception. The "faith once delivered to the saints" is the original unblemished spiritual legacy of divine Providence directly entrusted to the original apostolic disciples of Yeshua--the spiritual ancestors of true believers in Messiah today. In the first century, though, the Nazarenes had to be strongly exhorted to defend the pure faith from the era's prevalent false teachers who were circulating among the saints perverting and trying to undermine the true Gospel faith with false teaching. Hence, the elder Jude instructed the early Ecclesia to stoutly guard their faith and holy heritage, and thereby be able to pass it down in pure form and format--void of doctrinal adulteration, to upcoming generations of believers in Messiah Yeshua. This ministry recognizes the instructions of Jude to "...earnestly contend for the faith" (Jude 1:3)  as authoritative and applicable to the modern Ecclesia--the Messiah's "called out assembly" of this desperate hour of demoralization, spiritual decline, and secular discord.   (Exhortation)  Question: In what wayy, beloved reader, are you progressively acclimating to your new Hebraic identity and culture. Building Rapport and Unity around the Torah

"...be united in the same mind and the same judgment" (1 Cor.1:10).  2.5 Minutes

Unity of the faith, a powerful component that's essential for maintaining vitality in the New Testament Ecclesia, begins with believers (a) embracing a common identity and (b) acknowledging the significance of community. Ephesians 4:13-15. But conflict and dissension that lead to discord are often present in the Ecclesia--the "Called out Assembly" of Messiah Yeshua. These negatives generate useless arguments, exacerbate conflicting opinions, and cause the dissolution of unity between believers. Singleness of mind and heart among the saints are indispensable for bearing a godly witness of the Gospel but can be founded and sustained only upon true devotion to Yeshua and deep reverence for His teaching and direct instructions. Unity of the Spirit is not dependent upon celebrity preachers, their signature teachings, theater ministries, books or rallies. Remember, the "...Spirit give life; flesh profits nothing." John 6:63. Nevertheless, in a typical assembly carnal ambitions, enmity and unbiblical opinions are always present. Such hindrances can easily rise and compromise the unity of the Spirit and restrict the expressions of love and the fruit of the Spirit from fully manifesting. Indeed, where division among the Ecclesia's faithful continues the Holy Spirit is quenched, spiritual integrity is undermined, power fades, and wickedness ascends to fill the vacated space and reigns openly. 

In America, for example, brazen evil is working freely. It is basically un-confronted by unified repentance and has therefore gone forward to fuel (a) the fires of moral perversion and cause (b) the love of many for the Word of God--to grow cold, as prophesied by Yeshua Himself in Matthew 24:12. And now we bear witness of the increasing presence of unrestrained, sentient evil forces oppressing not only America but the entire planet also, and going even further with their devilry. Consider, for instance, the depraved LGBT transgender movement and the entrenched harm and violence it has already foisted upon children and misled parents across the country! Nevertheless, the monstrous lie has found growing support nationwide and is a rising force -- a depraved but ascending ideology with religious overtones that is infecting and completely dismantling every vestige of traditional moral value left in the nation. The strong spiritual force of evil that is behind this perversion exercises cosmic power over the darkness of this hour. It must be brought down.  And will be--by disciples united in Messiah who live and minister by the "working of His mighty strength" (Ephesians 1:19) -- the same Spirit and power that raised our victorious Messiah Yeshua from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of Elohim, His Father. What He said to Joshua centuries ago, He repeats the encouragement for us today through the Scripture "Be strong and very courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your Elohim is with you..." (Joshua 1;7).  Question:  Next post: Work Out Vigorously with the Word of Elohim.  Promise Shalom.

Work Out Vigorously with the Word of God 

"...be strong in the LORD and in His mighty power.." ( Ephesians 6:10 ).    2.5  Minutes

Anti-Messiah forces of evil--with which America is teeming, are hateful, relentless adversaries of YHWH and mankind, and are particularly bent upon undermining the Gospel and sabotaging the integrity of the faith and ministries of Messiah Yeshua's Spirit-led followers. The vile intentions of satanic spirits and demonic fiends befit hell, are unconscionably cruel, consistently active, and very effective at keeping deceived souls on the broad path to destruction. Spiritual wickedness never rests. It works tirelessly to (1) bewitch and confuse the minds of ungodly people, all of whom lie under the power, influence, and deceptions of Satan, who is "...the god of this world" (2 Cor. 4:4). What's more, such untiring infernal evils (2) oppose the prophetic purposes of Elohim through stirring up false and conflictive teaching common in denominational Christianity. And these sentient [self-aware] powers (3) also persuade spiritually minded people, and church goers as well, to distrust Scripture and forsake Yeshua in favor of (a) joining with humanistic ideologies and practices, (b) seeking affirmation from artificial intelligence even, and (c) crossing over to full-blown idolatry. This brazen desertion of reprobate people from Scriptural truth is as common today in America as it was in ancient Israel after it had been divided into two kingdoms. 

And it is symptomatic of an expiring nation (a people) that has, by and large, turned aside from YHWH's pure, Torah-based Word of grace and is undergoing a severe spiritual decline and moral collapse as a result. Is this not true? Causing the separation of humans from (1) the Elohim of Scripture and (2) the great salvation which He has provided for fallen mankind--is the purpose of satanic wickedness. Genuine idolatry, as the Scriptures describe it, is the most effective means of accomplishing that diabolical objective. It is a denial and rejection of Elohim in favor of a false god of some sort, and therefore must be regarded as a capital crime. Ex. 20:3; Deut. 5:7. Idolatry amounts to (a) substituting anything in the place that YHWH should occupy in one's life, and (b) reverencing it above Him--the Almighty, who lives forever and ever, and who created heaven and the earth and everything in them. Only He deserves praise and worship! Therefore, use discernment dear reader in your sojourning through this upside-down world in which you temporarily live. Employ wisdom. And be careful to follow what is written: "Be on your guard: stand firm in the [original apostolic] faith; be courageous; be strong" (1 Cor. 16:13).  Finally brethren--in this hour of upheaval, false gods, and the proliferation of wickedness--may we be subject to one another, do everything in love, and go forth with the blessed presence of the eternal Elohim of Israel noticeable in our midst. Aim for Excellence in Everything

" ...all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner"  (1 Cor. 14:40)   2 Minutes 

Contending for the spiritual restoration of Torah truth for the fragmented Body of Messiah, or to a departing remnant thereof, requires precedence because it constitutes a vision founded upon the love of Elohim and the welfare of people! It is the means of establishing reconciliation between YHWH and man, and stronger fellowship among congregants of the manifold Ecclesia also. Spiritual restoration even makes room for peace in spiritually divided families! What's more, it appropriately makes room for all things being done decently and in compliance with His specified instructions. Because of that, the Spirit inspired, Hebraic oriented truth movement can be expected to go forward and succeed with the (a) Torah's restoration and (b) the Spirit's renewal among saints today. These biblical realities were the most prominent and conspicuous powers present in the early Nazarene faith "once for all delivered to the saints."  Still, this blessed truth refreshing will most likely be experienced by complicit saints who will come out from the spiritually tangled, resistant Ecclesia. Change usually does not come easily. There are numerous roadblocks to re-establishing whole truth and biblical order to individual people and the varied faith communities of Christendom. Rampant idolatry is one of them. As it is presented in the Bible, idolatry is false worship and it amounts to spiritual adultery. Thus, it is out of divine order and a sin--even an abomination, and the damning end-product of violating YHWH's first and second commandments. Exodus 20:3 and 4. Remember, sin is breaking Elohim's Law--which is lawlessness. Yet, the demonic lure coaxing people into unbelief and idolatry is subtle but strong, drawing beguiled humans into false worship by making worldly pursuits and interests, and themselves as well, seem more desirable to engage and hold than YHWH's grace and promisers. Idols take many forms and fashions-- from objects to careers, like politics, to even people, such as entertainers. In any case they are undergirded by demonic energy and therefore are capable of infusing the idolater with unholy characteristics, demonic manifestations, confusion, and other troubles--including sickness.    Promise:  Question:  Next post:   Shalom.

  Choose Life

"But you shall cling to the LORD your God..." (Joshua 23:8-11)  2.5 Minutes

Naive people, even numerous believers, are unaware of the veiled but lethal danger associated with the sentient, spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly [other dimensional] places. These dark entitiies corrupts decenscy and create disorder in every ealm of human life.  Hence those who reject the Elohim of Scriptures and search elsewhere for truth end up deceived and embracing satanic decoys. When such an attachment becomes a bond, ...idolatry or instance, exciting as demon portals open to them and reveal the hellish realm of human-hating denizens...their deceived heir puppets--sorcerers, wizards, mediums, witches, and common people too-- reside under a satanic spell while doing their bidding and by doing so darken their own lives and those of others also. Nevertheless idolatry flourishes, and has found for itself very fertile fields among the impressionable young and even the older, undisciplined people in America. Nonetheless, idols represent lies, and an idolater, whether or not conscious of his or her gross offense, lives in a state of deception and under the threat of physical and mental abuse...and if undelivered by repentance and prayer there awaits judgment. Keep in mind--Satanic evil prowls about, deceiving and ensnaring careless earthlings everywhere, including Yeshua's followers, and separating them from (a) the Messiah, (b) one another, (c) sound doctrine, and (d) eternal life--as mentioned. Therefore, brave contender, be alert, self-controlled in life and anointed in ministry. 

An Ecclesia abiding in the unity of the faith is anointed and very strong, and can successfully contend with and defeat these evils. So when strife, discord, or unbelief and desertion from the "faith once for all entrusted to the saints" begin to rise around you, and they will from time to time, be not disheartened and lured away from your Torah-based foundation, but remain closely united with Yeshua's sacred words and His faithful disciples. If you are given the opportunity, bring back to the faith them who have strayed to into falsehood. Blessed students, you will remain strong by being "...constantly nourished on the words of faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following. But have nothing to do with worldly fables...[and] discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness..." (1 Tim.4:6+7). Let's agree that contenders for biblical truth will become unified and able to properly restore unadulterated, Torah-rooted truth and apostolic order to the Ecclesia of America--or at least to a large percentage thereof. Lastly, be diligent to pray for the grace of YHWH to abound in your life, and let love be sincere. It is written for you: "I cling to you; your right hand uphold me" (Psalm 63:8). Alive in the Righteousness of Messiah Yeshua

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ [Messiah] he is a new creation.." (2 Cor. 5:17).  2 .5 Minutes

Be aware ye believers--that all of you, by faith, (a) have been made "new creations" in Messiah, (b) are blessed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. What's more, you (c) are branches grafted into the Olive Tree--Israel, (d) have become fellow heirs and partakers of His promises associated with the covenants of Israel, and (e) are set apart as a royal priesthood. Hence, we His privileged followers, are anointed to represent Yahweh to all people, proclaim Yahweh's praise in the nations, and display the blessing of His instructions by living under the authority of Elohim's Torah, loving others and honoring them above ourselves. See Philippians 4:18. To serve under this holy calling produces a meaningful life and enrichment for soul--one's whole being actually...the nephish. Sadly, ordinary western Christendom has fallen short of producing a "salt and light" works of genuine discipleship of which Yeshua spoke in Matthew 5:13-20. This holy function is comprised of (1) contending for the preservation of Torah-based truth and enlightening the nations by proclaiming of the Kingdom of God in the power of the Spirit. Yeshua's followers therefore have an opportunity to be fruitfully and productively occupied during their dynamic stay on earth. Sure beats roaming about trying to check off some "bucket list." Notwithstanding, restoration of Spirit and Torah is our top priority. Hat this point. As mentioned, His live-giving truth has been dimmed and trampled in America and other western nations and is stifled by the teeming powers of darkness that have taken up residence in these countries. It is time for us who have been privileged to know His Word and follow it freely to repent of every manner of lawlessness and turn away also from unscriptural religious pretenses of the past and pursue the knowledge and practice of Elohim's pure truth. Question: Do you, valued reader, really think that by simply recommitting  to the same mix of religious beliefs of the recent past--a faith that most likely differs significantly from the blessed Nazarene Book of Acts, Torah-honoring faith "once delivered" to the saints, will actually invigorate and stabilize yourself or the institutional modern Ecclesia...or enable it to sustain an enduring revival? Keep in mind that you are a new creation in Messiah by the Spirit, an overcomer, a Kingdom ambassador on the threshold of a new, dynamic life of restored truth and glorifying Yahweh. Watch and Sound the Alarm 

"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent..." (Isa. 62:6).   2.5 Minutes

You and I, beloved restorers of truth--are in fact sentinels appointed by the Spirit of Elohim to observe and report the spiritual and secular forces that trouble the Body of Messiah and menace the people.  who are among the Messiah's "new creations" and thus His servant-friends, also face the responsibility of discerning and openly renouncing the schemes of the powers of darkness. This is an important part of the Spirit-inspired, compassion-motivated restoration of biblical truth. Are you up to this? Is the exhortation too severe? You decide for yourself, beloved reader, but remember what is spoken in Matthew 7: 21-23. Yeshua's comment concerning honoring His instructions is very sobering, especially since He did not mince words. Followers of the Good Shepherd are engaged at the center of a cosmic war. We are subjected to deception on a daily basis and tempted to sin day and night. [Let's be real.] Being a disciple requires effort. Therefore, the sheep are blessed to discern and receive the Father's strong admonitions and directions! The spiritual forces of wickedness, originating from the heavenly places [non-earthly dimensions], comprise the "behind-the-curtain" spiritual component that undergirds this hour's ungodly persuasions by (a) energizing inhumane agendas, (b) fanatically opposing YHWH's prophetic purposes, and (c) using reprobate humans and corrupt agencies for relentlessly attacking the saints and traditional morality today. 

The identity of Spirit-born believers, however, is no longer tethered to worldly kingdoms of darkness. They have undergone a spiritual metamorphosis, a radical transition from an earthly entity into heavenly, spiritual people. The transformation is the work of the Holy Spirit in the New Birth which miraculously occurs through faith in Yeshua, the Good Shepherd with whom the saints have new fellowship. They (we) identify with Yeshua and the Kingdom of God. Therefore, we--His sheep, must completely assimilate our Hebraic/Judaen heritage and establish an unbreakable bond with "...the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6) of Messiah Yeshua of Israel. Born-again believers, having been miraculously made into new creations in Messiah, are being stirred by the Holy Spirit to relate to Yeshua and His victory, and no longer bond with the world and its infernal enterprises. Finally disciples, when confronted with hard temptation be sure to (1) have the belt of full truth secured about about your waist, and be prepared to wield the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. It is your offensive weapon to be used for driving back and defeating evil powers. Yeshua is our example. Mt. 4:1-11. So lift up your voice, blessed Contender! " ...you are no longer foreigners [of the nations; gentiles]...but fellow citizens with God's people..." (Eph. 2:19).   2.5 Minutes

Spirit-regenerated followers of Yeshua must move forward and assimilate all the holy standards of the Kingdom of God into which they have been translated. Saints are, by the grace of YHWH, citizens of the Commonwealth of Redeemed Israel. They (we) are no longer Gentiles, or even Torah-less Christians for that matter. They (we) are Spirit-born saints, genuine confessors and followers of Messiah, ingrafted Israelites, and should be recognized and addressed as such. However, at least for now, they (we) continue to be referenced as converted Gentiles, a lesser sobriquet. Nevertheless, the restoration of "whole truth" is being recovered and restored. For that reason Contenders Voice has prepared a variety of resources that are designed to encourage today's saints recalibrate their loyalty, identify with Israel, grow in basic Torah-based truth, and become familiar with the original, apostolic Nazarene faith--the "ancient paths" of life written of by Jeremiah. See 6:16. Our aim is to equip believers in becoming true Hebraic-oriented disciples and prophetic visionaries who are dedicated students, servants, and friends of the Jewish Messiah. Accordingly, this ministry affirms that the Scriptures--Torah through Revelation, are still intact, divinely inspired, entirely true, and applicable for today. We also contend that the Torah, the foundation of Holy Writ, should continue to be restored to the modern Ecclesia and honored even as it was by the early apostolic Nazarene followers of our Savior, Yeshua Ha Mashiach--the crucified, buried and resurrected Son of Elohim. 

He is the central Personage of the entire Bible. Consequently, Contenders Voice (a) recognizes and identifies with--in fact is bonded to, Yeshua who is the living Word of Life, and (b) encourages New Covenant saints to comprehend the blessing of an Israelite heritage, relate to it completely, and assimilate the risen Savior's untarnished legacy of truth that has been passed on to all Spirit-born believers who look to Yeshua for eternal life. Therefore reader, be spiritually revitalized. Without reserve identify with Yeshua your Savior and High Priest, with His prophetic mission and Israel-His people also, and with the spiritually revitalizing Nazarene pure-faith culture. Remember what is written: "He who walks with the wise will become wise" (Prov. 13:20). Wisdom is a chief and very valuable blessing, you know...and it is always available. Become Doers of the Word

"My sheep hear My voice and they follow [obey) Me" (John 10:27).   2 Minutes

One's identity--the internal sense of who a person is as an individual and as a member of society, greatly influences his or her self esteem, moral stability, character, world view, quality of life, beliefs, and behavior. And people's associations--the family, workplace, congregation, et al with which they belong and fellowship are very important, major influences that mold their values, lives, and destinies. Though associations develop and sustain an individual's identity, they are also foundational to forming a legacy--which is the aggregate of a person's life experiences, values, convictions, events, work, and so on. Legacy is a very important matter. It can be called an inheritance. Though a legacy can take different forms, basically it is the sum-total value of a person's life that will be transmitted in one way or another to upcoming generations. Hence, quality associations are the predominant influences to both a healthy and productive personal identity and legacy. Contenders Voice thus encourages and assists followers of Yeshua in becoming genuine messianic disciples who identify with Him personally, without reserve, and with His followers too. Basically, dear reader, developing a genuine, strong sense of identity through a fellowship of saints is a wonderful blessing that will most likely produce a biblical "faith legacy" that can be passed along to and benefit your generations. But storing up a rich inheritance of biblical truth and experience--a spiritual legacy to bequeath to children and grand children, as did the patriarchs and matriarchs to their generations, requires strong faith, vision, dedication, and endurance. Oh yes, let's be sure to include among the essentials ---> obedience to His Word! This is the foremost requisite for identifying whole-heartedly with Yeshua. And the New Covenant definitely provides Spirit-born believers with the divine inspiration to conform and prosper in that quest! Obedience is the Proof of true Faith 

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word..." (see John 14:15-24).    2.5 Minutes 

Begin developing love-based spiritual intimacy with the Son of Elohim by following and benefitting from His teachings--all of them, and studiously emulating His example of sanctification and service. In other words, learn to love and abide in our Savior's commandments, and in doing so glorify Him. There's more. Strive to recover the Torah and its instructions for life and worship, and bring it into the home. Embrace the full ministry of the Holy Spirit--all the gifts thereof (1 Corinthians 12)  and yield to His teaching and personalized leadership. Hold firmly to your Israelite identity and its Hebraic ethos as ingrafted, redeemed Israelites--blessed partakers of the covenants. Forsake worldliness and renounce the far-reaching, manifold lawlessness pervading much of the the Ecclesia and just about all of the American anti-Messiah culture. Practice the lifestyle-of-consecration demonstrated by the Messiah's Apostles, disciples, and the early Nazarene believers, following Yeshua's ascension. Associate with His "true-faith," anointed Ecclesia--the "called out assembly." Remain steadfast and joyful in keeping His Torah-based instructions. Be vocal! Lift up your voice and clearly declare the Word of Elohim at every appropriate time--during prayer or otherwise! In this way, drive back encroaching darkness, pull down debilitating imaginations, vanquish demonic deceptions and temptations, overcome fear and doubt, and establish biblical truth with its peace and blessing. Matthew 4:1-16. Use the Word of God. It becomes the spiritual warfare weapon of choice when it is wielded by a lifted voice of faith--spoken by declaration or in prayer!  

Note: Brave contender, you have just read about some of the MOS duties assigned to you, according to Scriptures, as an enlistee in Yeshua's militant assembly of saints. In the U. S. Marine Corps it is somewhat the same. A catalog of service responsibilities describes a recruit's MOS--or  Military Occupational Specialty. You have an MOS also, beloved, but it is one whose gifts and duties are rooted solely in the practical demonstration of the love of God. Restoration requires compassion but it also involves very real spiritual warfare. Therefore Contenders Voice exhorts all active restoration warriors to become fully equipped with the spiritual realities represented by the Armor of God as described in Ephesian 6:12-18.  Questions: What do you think "suiting up" really entails, blessed reader?   Submission and servitude inspired by Love

"For My yoke is easy, and burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).  1.5 Minute

There are other godly and highly practical values, standards and practices of the Nazarene faith culture integrated with those components already mentioned. They combine to form the unvarying doctrinal orthodoxy maintained by the (a) original, (b) irrevocably established, New Testament Nazarene faith that was "once for all entrusted to the saints".  It is with this un-compromised, apostolic birthright that all believers are providentially blessed by grace through faith in the eternal Son, Yeshua. And we are fortunate to be provided with this divinely sanctioned and proven model of pure Gospel faith with which to associate, honor, obey, and be spiritually nurtured. Ephesians 2:8-9. Hebrews 6:3. However, does adhering to such beneficial, grace based, holy principles and practices as revealed above sound like too much of "a heavy load" for you to shoulder, dear reader? If so, think again! Living with His Torah yoke constitutes a blessed relationship and is a very wise lifestyle choice indeed. And be sure--an intimate union with the Torah, both the living (Yeshua) and the written (the Scroll), is the disciples' destiny...and duty to develop, might I add. Therefore, may we all adjust to the positive spiritual change that growing numbers of His followers are already undergoing! His truth is comfortable, not burdensome. Mt.11:30. The Torah is our Fundamental Compass

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Ps. 119:105).  1.5 Minutes

His Word is holy, yet very practical too. Actually the heavenly instructions, saintly orders, righteous doctrines, and divine decrees already established by and affiliated with the Nazarene faith--all of which are founded upon the agape love of the Father, are not unreasonable or taxing. In fact, they are no more demanding than the daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules and protocols, the assorted requirements for service, and the array of religious instructions, expectations, and standards--that are associated with Catholic, Protestant, and Evangelical Christianity today!  Are you aware, studious reader, that (1) living as a bonafide disciple of the divine Son and (2) becoming a true friend of His inter-relate to form the principal hope of those who choose to walk out their faith as did the early Nazarene apostles and disciples? Do you desire a deeper, more  intimate fellowship with your Redeemer? Keep in mind, disciple, that attaining to the worthy hope of friendship-fellowship with Messiah Yeshua requires heart-felt effort! Nevertheless, the rewards are great and entirely beneficial--satisfying every need of each faithful follower of the Good Shepherd! See John 15:7. Most importantly, however, is that by abiding in [conforming to] His word we glorify Yeshua, show both our heavenly Father and earthly neighbor biblical love, and affirm genuine respect for His authority. If you agree, stop for a moment and give praise to the One who is "...the faithful witness, the first born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth...who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood--and...made us to be a kingdom, [even] priests to His God and Father" (Rev.1:5-6). Righteousness and Friendship

"But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness..." (Matthew 6:33)   1.5  Minutes

Contenders Voice ministry consistently promotes (1) wrestling for, reinstating, and keeping the unblemished, pristine Nazarene faith standards, (2) being committed to seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness--as modeled by Yeshua, and (3) upholding of our Sabbath honoring, Jewish Messiah AND His commandments through love-motivated obedience and sanctification. These physical and mental exertions are essential for advancing the critical restoration of the American Ecclesia--or at least of a remnant from the widespread organization. Thus the ministry's resources do not proclaim a westernized Savior or a Torah-less Gospel. Rather, as mentioned earlier, we uplift and are thankful for Yeshua who is--the (a) prophesied Jewish Messiah, our (b) blessed, resurrected Redeemer, the (c) flawless Torah teacher from the tribe of Judah and of the royal House of David, and the (d) Nazarene Sovereign of the Kingdom of God. By our faith in Him and the supportive association we maintain with the early apostolic Nazarene faith, Contenders Voice has become in fact a "crossover," or eber, ministry. In other words, the ministry itself is Hebraic, not merely by confession but by faith, corresponding action, and restoration vision. [Note: Abraham became an eber--which is the root for the word Hebrew, by leaving his homeland, going forward as commanded by YHWH, and crossing over into Canaan. He and Sarah never returned to their old haunts or associations. They were crossovers. So are you, blessed reader!] By faith in Messiah Yeshua, Spirit-regenerated believers have, by the power of Elohim,  crossed over from the satanic kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of the righteous Son. People perish for lack of Scriptural Knowledge

" He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths" (Isaiah 2:3).   2.5  Minutes

Scripture exhorts Yeshua's brethren to be like-minded in faith and united in purpose. These important objectives can be realized by (a) faith and (b) personal sacrifice. But also required and very helpful is a communal vision for (c) pursuing the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and (d) restoring the Ecclesia to its original Nazarene faith foundation. In order to maintain a unified association however, contenders for the "faith once for all entrusted to the saints" (Jude 1:3) are expected to discern and expose false teaching as corrosive to the faith of His people and as dangers rooted in ungodly ideologies and even present in institutional Christianity. Saints, it is also our duty to renounce the rampant sinfulness pervading and fouling our country's spiritual, secular, and domestic institutions. Such works comprise a "watchman's"  responsibilities. That person sounds the alarm when troubles are advancing. There are people who, when existing within a decaying culture, will turn to and hold tightly to their traditional faith, and thereby find affirmation and comfort, even in an upheaval. On the other hand, however, there are those who will compromise their beliefs and life traditions--even their holy tenets that are based upon biblical truth, in order to (1) accommodate a changing culture's new ideals and (2) fit more comfortably into an emerging social order. Revolution causes cognitive dissonance--the conflict of sorting through contradictory information and values. 

The attendant mental strain and the pressure to comply to an unwanted conclusion will lead to personal and public anxiety, confusion, and eventually social conflict. Such is the desired outcome of satanically energized propaganda. Corporate spiritual confusion is the condition undergirding America's turmoil and lawlessness. Remember, close association with the fallen world system, its patrons and general mindset, will lead sojourners onto the broad path that leads to destruction. Matthew 7:13-14. This is the "road most traveled." As stated, that unholy path ends badly. Believers need to comprehend the blessing of associating with those wise folks seeking to advance the Great Commission--Yeshua's clear directive to make disciples and teach them to obey all our Savior's teachings. Such a worthy, end-times undertaking is expected of true disciples, is unifying, and is entirely compatible with the principles of the Torah. What else is there to live for on a planet that is (1) encased in cosmic warfare and covered increasingly with hellish, discordant frequencies--the ambience of demons from which fallen spiritual wickedness siphons its needed energy. Accordingly, the earth is (2) perpetually shrouded and subjected to the evil works of sentient spiritual entities, and what's more is (3) destined for judgment and destruction by fire, making room for a new earth and a new heavens. Not a cheerful forecast...but there is a happy ending. 2 Peter 3:10. So, what is the "takeaway?" Moment by moment, live in unity with the ways and words of the Good Shepherd, and walk securely in His paths.    Question:    Next post:  Shalom.

Wait for Adonai

"...set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Yeshua...is revealed " (1 Pet.1:13).   2.5 Minutes

Looking forward with confidence, dear friends, we Spirit-quickened saints of Messiah are anointed to produce those good works that will honor our Elohim and, to a greater or lesser degree, enrich humanity. May we remember always that, at some point, our good works--which are related to conforming to His sacred instructions, shall be rewarded by the coming Judge of the living and the dead. It is for (1) overcoming the world's unholy systems and (2) bearing good fruit during our stay on earth--that you and I are chosen, anointed, and led by the Holy Spirit. Believers therefore need to be confident regarding the foundation or reality on which we are building our lives. Is your house [life] built on the rock--obedience to the words of Messiah Yeshua? Only construction established on the bedrock of uncut divine truth conforms to YHWH's building code and will endure the storms of life. Or is your foundation of life built on sand and rock--a mixed foundation of truth and falsehood that seems adequate at first but in fact is unstable and not entirely trustworthy. Western Christianity has been built upon such a foundation, has it not?. 

And then there's just plain ol' sand--representing unbelief, or religious pretense, hypocrisy, and the world's antichrist values. This shifting foundational material--loose sand, cannot support the construction of any "life-house" at all, but will invariably give way to the turbulence common in the world. Matthew 7:27. Consider your future, dear reader, and become a wise person. Compromising with temptation is your enemy! Yeshua himself warns His flock concerning the importance of building one's life and faith--a person's legacy, solidly upon His instructions. Hence, to conclude this page, I present each reader with five simple but important questions for honest consideration. First, with whom do you fully identify? Secondly, to which kingdom do you find yourself drawn and yielded?  Thirdly, who are your favorite, most compatible associates?  Fourthly, can you, dear reader, describe your Spirit-inspired life vision? And fifthly, what is the quality of the spiritual legacy and faith convictions that you are, even now, developing and passing on for the enrichment of your needful children and grand children? Remember, beloved visionary, they will surely have to face the demonically charged, perilous days of testing that loom ahead.   Question:   Next post:  Shalom. Overlooked

"Go...make disciples of all the nations...teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..." (Matt. 28:19).  1.5 Minutes  

The biblical doctrines of American Christianity, as incomplete as they may be, have been compromised over the decades and are now often looked upon as irrelevant by a multitude of people. And among them are many unmotivated, intermittent church-goers. Current polls reveal that the percentage of Americans believing in the true God who is revealed in the holy Scriptures continues to shrink each year. Why? For one thing, YHWH's Word of Truth--as it has been written, is not being fully preached throughout the Ecclesia as it once was by (a) Yeshua, (b) the original Apostles, and (c) the early Nazarene disciples such as Stephen the martyr, Philip the evangelist, and Saul of Tarsus. Hence, such important issues as sin, repentance, biblical morality, redemption, righteousness, and genuine discipleship are not regularly emphasized from today's modern pulpits. Worldly topics related to Achieving Personal Success, Social Justice, Attaining Power, Dreams and Visions, Finances, Self-Actualization and such, are given preference. However proclaiming the full counsel of Elohim from the front of the Bible--the Torah, through the Old Covenant, then the Gospels, the New Covenant Epistles, and finally Revelation in the back, is the prescribed and most effectual method of systematically presenting the full spread and depth of our Father's instructions, corrections, reproofs, assurances, and exhortations to the saints. This manner of preaching would be in step with the standard practice of the New Testament Nazarene faith. But this degree of high caliber ministry--that is open and responsive to heaven's favor, has been shelved by institutional, spiritually undernourished Christendom. Fortunately, the "whole truth" paradigm of biblical teaching has been preserved for our benefit, in the 54 weekly parsha lessons read around the globe each year by Jews and messianic followers of Messiah Yeshua.    Question:     Next post:  Shalom.

Fully Charged for the Task

" But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you..." (Acts 1:8).    2. Minutes

The supernatural power of the Spirit was given to the Nazarene New Covenant brethren because Messiah Yeshua knew it would be needed by His early followers and those also who would follow their example in carrying the Gospel through the ages. This brings us to another reason for the decline of interest in church attendance and participation. It is the lack of miraculous ministry which should be present among gathered believers, at least to some degree. The full ministry of the Holy Spirit, well at work in the days of the apostolic Nazarenes, has been pretty much restricted or entirely ignored in most Christian assemblies today. Even the matter of Yeshua's Holy Spirit baptism is disputed and has been avoided by ill-taught denominations. It appears this is particularly true in messianic assemblies. The false doctrine of cessationism, which declares the suspension of the gifts of the Holy Spirit has occurred, is a stumbling block. So are unbelieving and overly cautious ministers, tightly scheduled programs, some charismatic excesses, and consequential disinterest, which have all contributed in quenching the Spirit's leadership and His divine, miraculous ministry that is intended to confirm the preached Word and minister to the needs of people. 

Divine power--the full panoply of the Holy Spirit's gifts being directed as needed, is required today at least as much as it was centuries ago in the Apostles' ministries. The dearth of believers experiencing or benefitting from the Holy Spirit's manifest presence accentuates western Christianity's mundaneness and encourages skeptical people--spiritually immature men in particular, to wonder if the supernatural power of the Kingdom of Elohim is indeed moving in the earth. Yeshua's saints are coming to the Torah, true enough. And this development of grace is a very timely, prophetic phenomenon. But there's more coming, we of C.V. believe! Hebraic truth oriented, messianic disciples are in for a much needed dynamic visitation of the Spirit of Truth manifesting in life-changing power. How can Contenders Voice assume that, you ask? Consider the day of Pentecost. Acts 2 and 3. Now consider also that which is written: "What has been done  will be done again" (Eccl.1:9). What do you think? To Love is to Obey

"Obedience is better than sacrifice, and to listen [to His Voice] than the fat of rams"  (1Samuel 15:22)   2 Minutes

Observing YHWH's commandments, all that are known and doable in this latter-day era, comprises the essence of salvation faith and pure worship. Recall what is written: "If anyone loves me, he will keep My word..." (See John 14:15-24). The commandments of Elohim are founded upon His love for the saints and the believers obedience to His commandments is our acceptable expression of faith and love for Him. Religious activities apart from heart-felt compliance to YHWH's expressed will--i.e., His commandments, are actually cakes not-turned...meaning they are unfit and incomplete exercises. See Hosea 7:8. However this accurate perception presents us with a serious matter to resolve. It is the (a) exaggerated promotion of grace juxtaposed [compared] with the (b) ongoing demotion of the importance of obedience to YHWH's holy Instructions. Further, this concocted, lop-sided relationship of grace and obedience is a religious assumption that stifles discipleship and hinders the growth of friendship-fellowship with Yeshua. It keeps churches and congregants from fulfilling their true spiritual potential, and undermines achieving victory in spiritual warfare for example. This faulty notion needs to be turned right-side up! Corrected! Our Messiah is usually seen by congregants as a wonderful, tolerant, and understanding Savior but is disregarded as their LORD and Shepherd whose words are to be taken-to-heart and obeyed! Conformance to Elohim's commandments is not legalism at all, or an attempt to earn salvation, as some wrongly think. It is however a (1) choice, a (2) demonstration of love for Elohim and our fellow man, and the (3) bedrock of clean, unadulterated worship. Make no mistake by under-estimating the significance of individual compliance to our Creator's instructions for life. It is the way of freedom. The dismissal of the believers' dynamic, multifaceted, whole spiritual legacy--of which obedience to all known truth is integral, is a serious oversight that interferes with the full application of Yeshua's victory to the individual, the Ecclesia itself, even the restoration of social morality.  Selah--Pause and listen to the Holy Spirit, and then proceed. It is written: "He who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me" (John 14:21).    Question:    Next post:  Shalom.

Submit to the will of Yahweh

"...to him who knows to do good and does not do, to him it is sin" (James 4:17).  2.5 Minutes

Those people who confess faith in Yeshua as Messiah, and have become new creations via the miraculous rebirth wrought by the Holy Spirit, cannot claim innocence once they become cognizant of YHWH's instructions. They then are responsible to honor that which they have been given by the Spirit of Truth. More light is actually a valued blessing for the "children of light" I would say. Tolerating false teaching and engaging dark religious customs not compatible to biblical truth is a fault that is common in modern Christendom. Notwithstanding, doctrinal abnormalities should be abandoned. Such diabolic, misleading intrusions contradict salvation doctrine, undermine faith, and vitiate [weaken] the positive-and-timely influence that divinely quickened inspiration, enlightenment, motivation, anticipation, and zeal should have upon the fellowship of bonafide believers--the Savior's sheepfold. Instead, there resides among the many "confessors of Messiah" a casual compliance to divine instructions that spawns the (a) demise, and eventually the (b) death, of faith convictions--leaving only unstable, carnal preferences by which the back-slidden truth deniers must thereafter endure. This lamentable scenario has multiplied tepid pew sitters, constricted ministry, and encouraged church walkaways. A modern day exodus of truth and congregants from our churches has undermined traditional American culture and that of other western nations as well. So it should be of no surprise that regular attendance and participation at religious services in America persists in declining. 

Today's Spirit-regenerated followers of Yeshua must understand that they have been blessed with a manifold duty for productively occupying one's stay on earth and glorifying the Savior. For one thing, it includes contributing to the outreach work of making and teaching both converts and budding disciples to learn and observe all the Messiah's words of instruction found in the sacred Scriptures. Matthew 28:18-20. This apostolic mandate of teaching obedience has been neglected and must be recovered immediately! Be sure, blessed reader, that full compliance to YHWH's Word and honoring divinely prescribed responsibilities as a bonafide disciple of Yeshua comprise the remedy for ennui [boredom]. The obedience of faith--spoken of in Romans 1:5 and 16:26, does not fade as a heightened emotion would. It is the fruit of whole-hearted, life-long devotion to Messiah Yeshua that does not stall but goes forward producing good works. What's more, in makes room in one's life for the enhancement of prophetic vision, service motivation, personal peace, and enduring satisfaction. To withdraw from Spirit-given responsibilities because of self-serving reasons is called "malingering' in the armed services. To purposely refuse to do what is right is called sin in the Kingdom. Sin is lawlessness. The takeaway? Consider what is written: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves [give up all personal rights] and take up their cross and follow me [despite the cost]" (Mt. 16:24). Judgment begins with Believers

"For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God" (1 Peter 4:17)   2.5 Minutes 

Modern Christianity needs an identity makeover. As a whole, it still does not recognize itself as (a) the Ecclesia--YHWH's "called out Israelite assembly," or as being (b) subject to all the Torah's pertinent instructions. It is true that positive spiritual trends--along with renewed outreach and revival efforts, appear to be rising among Christian fellowships and alliances. This is good news that stirs hope for an enduring truth revival and a harvest of souls for Messiah Yeshua. While such prayerful developments can prove very beneficial to the rank and file of Christian churches, serious problems continue to exist. Foremost among them, as mentioned, is the Ecclesia's widespread non-conformance to YHWH's commandments. This failure constitutes the fundamental error of Modern Christendom--the worldwide body of Christians. In other words, the unescapable debilitating fault is the believers carefree disregard for YHWH's sacred Law--that  which is known, applicable, and doable. By the way, all Yeshua's instructions, which are usually overlooked also, are entirely consistent with the Torah. Thus it is obvious that the serious shortcoming mentioned above is blatant disobedience to Yahweh's commandments. It is a fundamental transgression that produces far-reaching debilitating consequences. Spiritual enfeeblement is chief among them and it renders the Ecclesia under-equipped for spiritual warfare on both the personal and corporate levels. Hence spiritual mediocrity prevails but overcoming the darkness does not! This error must be reversed, but probably won't be by the institutional churches. 

Most likely a remnant of saints that has discerned the defect and vacated the non-compliant denominational system, will recover and follow the Torah's Instructions and be transformed in the process. Many of today's modern ministries however are not so inclined. They are often run by religious people who follow established church customs but also desire the recognition, favor, advantages, and fellowship of worldly powers over YHWH's clear instructions, promises and assurances. For instance, seeking government approval for 501c3 tax exempt status is a common practice for Christian ministries--churches especially. Gaining this advantage is considered fiscally wise, but by whose standard--the world's or YHWH's? Biblical denominations, fellowships, and alliances develop godly ministries and services as a matter of purpose. Nevertheless, these usually seek the connection to government sanctioned tax exemption by submitting to application requirements and permitting an internal inspection by a morally and politically corrupt federal bureaucracy. This is hypocritical, isn't it? Reasons, excuses, rationale, logic, and even Bible verses are always set forth in defense of Bible-based ministries attaining government favor. This is the wisdom of man. Bottom line? YHWH's Ecclesia, which is experiencing judgmental correction, must turn around and become His truly set apart people "...whose praise is not from men but from God' (Roman 2:29). Repent and be Sanctified

"Make ready the way of the LORD, make His paths straight."  (Matthew 3:3).  2 Minutes

Seeking a connection to a government's benefit program bonds the Ecclesia to an unholy power not at all aligned with the Word of God. It is an embarrassing compromise. When approved the ministries are welcomed as members in a tax-exempt club full of disparate, often spiritually and morally perverse entities. The membership roll includes many groups including lurid globalist corporations, satanists, witchcraft organizations, new age religions, atheist groups, and many other organizations that have no interest or affiliation with biblical truth at all. A motley unholy crew, to be sure. But isn't the unholy world--its supporters, systems and governments supposed to hate Yeshua followers--and I'm referencing true disciples here. Yes! In Yeshua's words: "...you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you [true disciples]" (John 15:18 to 20). But when we compromise our Messiah-centered, Bible based truth and standards in order to "get along," worldly powers welcome us gladly into their disreputable ranks. Have we forgotten what is written: "Love not the world..." (1 John 2:15-17). Why not? For now, it is under the dominion of Satan. The planet's political, cultural, corporate, and religious systems, et al, are hostile to Messiah Yeshua, His words of truth, His followers, and the Gospel itself. Born again believers are new creations in Messiah and hence aliens while sojourning on earth. We are, however, citizens the Kingdom of God--to which we are ordered to be uncompromisingly loyal. 

I don't recall the apostles submitting their ministries, finances, tenets, or prophetic purposes to Rome, the Rabbis, the Pharisees, or anyone else for approval and tax relief, do you? They reported only to the Elohim of Israel and were approved and led by His Spirit. But today's flirtatious, backslidden American Ecclesia is compromised and under a judgment of correction leading to repentance. Consequently, the nation also--devoid of its once consistent input of unadulterated biblical truth that enforced its morality, is backslidden and being subjected to mounting judgments and chastisement as well. There must be evidence of genuine repentance, humility, and full obedience to divine truth in our homes and fellowships as modeled by the Nazarene disciples...or judgment will continue to grow, intensify, and become even more severe and unbearable. Yet grace does remains. It is written: "Now repent of your sins, and turn to  God, that your sins may be wiped away..." (Acts  3:19). America will not be returned to its pre-9/11 ethos, but we can pray and hope for something better--a spiritual awakening followed by an ongoing truth revival. Seek first His Kingdom and Righteousness

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.." (James 4:8)    1.5  Minute

Something is very wrong indeed! The Holy Spirit is lifting divine favor off the nation, so to speak. Infernal wickedness has filled the abandoned spaces. Lawless churches are becoming irrelevant and are closing--especially in large cities. Their doors have been closed because of the lack of public interest, and the buildings are often sold or re-purposed for social and community service. Again, these lamentable conditions comprise indisputable, inculpatory evidence that clearly testifies to our backslidden nation's expiring Bible-based spirituality and moral disintegration. In any case, as of this writing--productive membership in the Ecclesia [Church; Called out Assembly] is being rejected by common people in growing numbers--in favor of secular attractions, worldly associations, recreation, and assorted New Age religions and activities that offer no hope of redemption or salvation. The church is undergoing chastisement unto correction and the restoration of truth. Meanwhile America itself has come under an evil spell and is suffering chastisement unto repentance, and if it is lacking or insufficient, full judgment will be our portion. It could be said-we are indeed undergoing a twofold judgment. YHWH's corrective discipline reveals our plight and need. How then can this destructive backsliding and apostatizing of believers be reversed? It is by the Ecclesia's heartfelt repentance and a renewed obedience to the Master's commands. 2 Chronicles 7:14. Further, what is written by David long ago is for our edification today: "Teach me, O LORD, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end" (Psalm 119:33). Questions: Are America's Christians invested enough in recovering full truth and having divine favor returned to the Ecclesia ? Spiritual restoration is after all a campaign of compassion, a call to repent and make the psalmist's words our own heartfelt, powerful prayer? What does this mean to you? Love from a Pure Heart is the Goal

"Now the end of the commandment is love unfeigned..." (1Timothy 1:5-7).   2 Minutes

Love, against which there is no law or judgment levied, is the primary fruit of the Spirit and the enduring virtue by which we are commanded to live. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and Leviticus 19:18. The restoration of love is the finished work of divine correction, the completion of Elohim's chastisement of His people. Love sustains  believers under stress, unites the Ecclesia, and makes  it impregnable against its foes. Yet union, fellowship bonded in prophetic vision, promises of strength, and gifts in operation are a deception unless all is in the union and fellowship of sacred love. This is the Law the end of which is glorifying YHWH through the obedience of faith is Messiah. Consider this paraphrase of C.N. Eerdmans Pulp. Comm., pg. 192. "Love expresses itself in different ways. Love speaks evil of no man and thinks no evil. Love gives. It is selfless. The homes of those persecuted for their faith in Yeshua are typically slenderly stocked. They often had to endure the 'spoiling of their precious goods' but there was always at the table room for a stranger who needed food and rest. Love does not push to interrupt and be heard Love sustains individual weakness...unites the ecclesia. makes it impregnable against enemies...nevertheless, union, fellowship, promises of strength is deception unless.  in the union and fellowship of sacred love. 

1 Corinthians13 informs us: "Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant , does not act unbecomingly; does not seek its own, is not easily provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth..." 1 Corinthians 13:4-6. In the scripture above taken from 1 Timothy, chapter one, Paul is giving his spiritual son Timothy a charge to teach the saints the obedience of the faith. The goal of this apostolic instruction is LOVE ! Believers have found that, since the time of Jude, false teaching provokes discord, circular arguments, speculative, guesswork which compromises and the stable doctrines of poure biblical truth. False teaching works  to corrupt  faith and is satanic in nature. Apostolic teaching produces sound doctrine and righteous living  based upon a pure heart, sincere faith, a clean conscience, and love born of the Holy Spirit. The Gospel's power for personal transformation is exhibited clearly in the live of Paul. Recall His Word: "In this is love, not that we love God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10). His love for you, reader, is from eternity and is everlasting. Accordingly, this is His command to us: "Love one another" (John 13:34-35). Beware of false Teaching and Prophesies

"...in the latter times some shall depart from the faith...(1 Timothy 4:1)    1 Minute

The rejection of YHWH's sacred Laws--His Instructions for a blessed life, explains why American society has become heavily secularized and increasingly attracted to humanist beliefs and ideologies. Current polls reveal growing numbers of average people--young and older alike, are actually switching from their Christian affiliation to the likes of Witchcraft, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Scientism, and even Wicca and Satanism...for starters! This is confusion of the first order! And further, traditional Bible doctrines concerning righteousness and discipleship are biblical standards that most American's now regard as antiquated and wholly incompatible with the nation's emerging profane ethos [character]. This is the new but ugly face of America being formed by the pagan neo-religion--"Wokism." Any observant person not held captive and mesmerized by Main Stream Media propaganda--a grotesque circus mirror distortion of truth, will discern the lies and condemn the unscrupulous culture shift its producing. Malevolent ideologies and practices have indeed flooded into the nation to replace the ebbing away of biblical faith. The invasive destructive forces--and we can label them as social pathogens, include first--lawlessness [sinfulness]--the product of unbelief and rejection of the Scriptures, and its hideous offspring--violence and injustice. This merciless satanic triad has thrived and multiplied throughout the nation's confused and chaotic environment--and has thus become the chief pandemic in the land, spawning and nurturing every devilish work of misfortune one can imagine. Therefore, make your abode the "...shelter [abiding in Messiah's Words] of the Most High" (Psalm 91:1). He is greater than any threat the saints will face. Do not ignore Yahweh's Torah 

"Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well" (1 John 3-4).   2 Minutes  

The manifold power of lawlessness, which is sinfulness--is boldly at work across the land leavening and corrupting cultural civility, stirring up violence and anarchy, blinding believers to their Hebraic heritage, blessings and responsibilities, and undermining valid biblical beliefs of people, families, and their domestic institutions with heterodoxy--false teaching. Spiritual fakery is multiplying today, and when left un-noticed or tolerated by the Ecclesia of Messiah, will surely influence and cause undiscerning saints to waver and possibly turn away from (a) the sure doctrines and customs of YHWH's pure truth--that which they hold, and (b) the belief of salvation which is through faith in Yeshua only. In this way, spiritual wickedness corrodes sound [true] biblical principles, values, and morality, and often leaves the exposed sheep of Yeshua doubtful of their faith and, as mentioned, in danger of abandoning it. Whenever this spiritual desertion occurs, the exposed souls are left unequipped for accurately discerning and resisting the infernal deceptions and evil spirits ever at work beguiling the population at large and attempting to interfere with YHWH's prophetic intentions for them. The current in-your-face wickedness which is "blossoming" throughout the country in this hour is the unholy ideology of "wokeness"  unrestrained wrongdoing. 

This demonic, religious stench has gained momentum and continues to spawn decadence and disorder in just about every stratum of society. And its injurious spread of devilish ideas flows freely from media industries and government education institutions as well that support the "woke" phenomenon. These enterprises have come under an infernal spell, and by the power providentially granted them for this moment in time, continue beguiling, sedating, and then openly directing much of the population--young and old alike, toward satanic, globalist objectives. Under such relentless persuasions America's most popular religion--Christianity, has become less and less relevant to many people. How then can believers, both male and female, remain spiritually strong and morally clean in such a repressive time as this? I believe it is King David who answers that timely question: "How can a young man [or woman] keep his way pure? By living according to thy Word" (Psalm 119:9). Simply returning to the old ways is a start, but the effort will prove ineffectual in sustaining a long term revival. A critical mass of heated, Spirit-charged "particles"--zealous restoration saints, will be needed to sustain the radiant core that fires a continuance. The way of recovery is by making an irreversible decision to be utterly faithful--day by day, to YHWH's sacred truth--starting with the Torah's fundamental commandments. Rebuke, reprove, correct, exhort,and Encourage

"You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine" (seeTitus 2:1-6).  2.5 Minutes

The faulty ...western Ecclesia, under whose watch hellish evils have "flowered," has fallen short of its full Spirit-and-Torah potential. Institutional Christianity is spiritually frail because it (1) does not adhere to the whole Word of God, (2) quenches--or restricts, the full ministry of the Holy Spirit, (3) presents a christianized Jesus, (4) teaches a westernized Torah-less Gospel, and (5) offers a biblical education which includes false doctrines contrary to the plain teaching and lifestyle of the divine Son. An abridged Gospel, void of first century Nazarene truth and practice, simply cannot raise up un-compromised, fully sanctified saints--i.e., zealous disciples who can imitate their Master Teacher, Yeshua. Hence the true Gospel (a) "salt" is being trampled underfoot and (b) its "light" has been placed under a basket. See Matthew 5:13. America's corrupted and scarred domestic landscape suffers openly and thus bears witness to its spiritual and moral sickness and need of a Torah-centered, full-truth faith restoration. It is quite apparent that generations have yet to be taught the importance, challenge and benefit of Yeshua-centered discipleship and personal obedience to the Word of Elohim.

Hence, lacking enthusiasm for the Scriptures, many naive people, mostly young but older also, are turning to substitutes such as Artificial Intelligence for support and guidance. This advanced technology is being considered as the premiere transhumanist means capable of (1) writing new, modern-day, man-centered "bibles" that are more pleasing to and tolerant of proud and sinful mankind, (2) concocting  a fresh selection of custom religions to supplement Scientism, Global Warming, liberal Christianity, Wicca, even TikTok, and other religions of the waning Bible era, (4) providing computerized, algorithmic counseling for replacing the Holy Spirit as teacher and guide, and so on. This is madness! The edicts of Deuteronomy 6:5-8 directing followers of Yeshua to teach and discuss His words daily with their children have been entirely disrespected--even ignored, by those claiming to belong to Messiah. This represents unbelief in spades! Yes, disinterest in Bible reading abounds, at least for now--but Tarot cards, seances, sorcery, seeking angelic interventions, palm reading and so on are very popular. Here is the take away: "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as He walked" (1 John 2:6).  Are you prepared to imitate Rabbi Yeshua's faith, love, righteousness, self denial, and way of life while living in this dark, hostile world lorded over by the "evil one"?  Selah.   Question: Next post:  Tamid Kadima--Always Forward. Bow low before Yahweh and walk in Torah Truth 

" Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you" (Isaiah 57:15).  2.5 Minutes

America is now experiencing the symptoms of a spiritual awakening. The public's growing awareness of and disgust with the nation's evolving lawlessness and corrupted immoral character--the corruption of which is being exposed increasingly, is stirring a countervailing moral awakening that could result in a revival catching fire among the Ecclesia's many assemblies. Contenders Voice, of course, enthusiastically promotes the signs, or tokens, of a Bible-centered spiritual awakening that have been occurring around the nation. These encouraging signals include but are not limited to (a) revival meetings, (b) students gathering in colleges to pray, and (c) righteous people leaving denominations whose leaders welcome into their churches anti-Messiah, woke standards and humanist values. We also notice amidst the national lawlessness and moral debauchery (d) people who are being converted to Messiah Yeshua and are getting baptized in large numbers. These are the tokens of a burgeoning revival swell being stirred by the Holy Spirit. It is written: "Where sin abounds graces abounds much more" (Romans 5:20).  Meanwhile, an apostolic Hebraic Restoration movement has been raised and is at work upon the national scene laboring--for the first time in history, to restore the full Torah of Elohim to the common faith of believers. The Ecclesia has come upon a divided road and must choose its direction. One path leads to its spiritual heriatage--the other familiar path continues forward unaligned with Scriptural truth. It needs to be re-taught the full measure of biblical truth  and return to holiness and righteousness or face expiring spiritually and losing relevance. Unbelief and sin flourish where God's full biblical truth is not followed but instead is cast aside. Still, as a (a) spiritual awakening grows, and  (b) revival in households and assemblies multiply, the spiritual ambience of demonically occupied darkened regions, large or small, will be visited by the enlightening glory of Messiah. The spirits of wickedness will be dispelled as the presence of Elohim's Spirit and Light is magnified.    Question:  Next post:  Shalom.

The Bitter Fruit of Deceit

" ...they exchanged the truth of God for a lie..." (Romans 1;25).  1.5 Minutes

Thus, any citizens who, by their unbelief and uncurbed sinfulness, have been given over to reprobate mindsets and demonic control will be delivered as they come to salvation through faith in Yeshua. And with this going on, Yahweh will continue to lead His people--Spirit-newborns and all those revived from different levels of religious faith, knowledge, and experience--back to knowing and practicing once again His Torah truth--His instructions for life and the foundation of spiritual strength! Of course, the Messianic saints need a move of the Spirit, I think. So, should we not look for a visitation of presence and power of the Holy Spirit to occur within the messianic Ecclesia? Yes! Didn't He visit and empower first the Nazarene Jews as they gathered obediently in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost--at the Temple during Shavuot? Yes indeed! Has the Father forgotten or become indifferent to the spiritual need of the modern Hebraic Ecclesia--us? No! Remember the principle of First Mention? In the Bible, when a word, instruction, or doctrine is mentioned for the first time, it sets a guideline, or establishes a precedent that can be used as a foundation upon which to develop understanding for other related Scriptures. The Bible will interpret itself.  It is written: "What once was, will be again" (Eccl.). Divine visitation has occurred in the past and it will come again--when and where it is needed! The proclamation of the Kingdom and its Torah constitution must be proclaimed again in the nations in the power of the Spirit. Conclusion: It is written: "So then let us not. sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober" (1 Thess. 4:6). The Broad or Narrow Way

"Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is..." (Jer. 6:16).  2 Minute

The faith of the original New Testament Ecclesia--the Spirit-baptized, Nazarene Assembly of Messiah, was "Word based." It was founded solely upon the Torah, Prophets, and Writings of the Jewish Tanakh. And thus its doctrines included the entire warp-and-woof of Yeshua's Torah-based teaching. To repeat, this body of divine truth was reiterated accurately and faithfully by His dedicated apostles and disciples. Hence, YHWH's Torah, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the centrality of love-motivated obedience to Yeshua's words, were integral faith mainstays. During the first century C.E. the authority and accuracy of His Hebraic/Judaic teachings were affirmed among the saints throughout Judah, Samaria, Asia Minor, and eventually among the messianic assemblies in the Mediterranean region. It--the Nazarene body of truth, became settled among the faithful. These saints recognized, and were satisfied, that the apostolic Ecclesia's orthodoxy was supported by the divinely inspired Torah, Prophets, and the Writings, and thus could not be changed--but rather defended and kept in place. 

Further, by its steadfast conformity to sacred truth the "..faith once delivered..." was resolutely endorsed by (a) generations of Torah observant, Spirit-led, messianic leadership and, significantly, by (b) the inclusion of Jude's epistle in the official Canon--the embodiment of Yahweh's sacred instructions for His covenanted people. Be sure of this, reader: "The Law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure [completely trustworthy], making wise the simple" (Psalm 19:7). Remember, His sacred Scriptures change not, but remain perpetual, and unvarying. So brethren, we have ample reason to be glad."The Word of the LORD [YHWH] is flawless" (Proverbs 18:30). A biblically-based renewal, which we admit is sorely needed, is still within reach. Our nation's families are the building blocks of our society. Lamentably, the spiritual condition of the traditional family unit in America is fractured and lies spiritually defective--...rejection of the pure Word of God. The result is unbelief and hence an inability of people, young and older, to consistently rise up to confront and overcome any pervading darkness. And predictably our country has followed suit. Nevertheless, God's Word, always directed to His covenant people, stirs faith and remains reliable. It is written for us, His covenanted people: "If you return to me [repent], I will restore you" (Jeremiah 15:19).  Question:    Next post: Shalom.

Remember and Forget Not. 

"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3)   1.5  Minutes

Holy Scripture--the whole unedited Bible, is intended to be God's gift to all the people of the world. It is the sacred compilation of the Almighty's holy truth for mankind, beginning with Israel. When the Bible's Spirit-inspired precepts and principles are honored and followed they establish wholesome law and order in society, and set within it the pillars of faith, justice, morality, honesty, and other righteous standards. These splendid virtues are among Elohim's love-based, Kingdom foundations, all of which are established and divinely supported where there exists ongoing faith in Messiah Yeshua--our chief cornerstone, and full compliance to His words. See Matthew 7:24-27. Moreover, Holy Writ is vital in forming and sustaining a blessed life, and its commandments and statutes actually make room for personal and social freedom. But when Elohim's blessed foundations are not maintained by man, and they fall, evil becomes unrestrained and freely runs its cruel and destructive course. 

Psalm 11:3 (above) references ancient Israel's demise and serves as our historic example. The world in which we exist is a place of prevalent sinfulness--the transgression of God's Law. And this predisposition for lawlessness--an innate characteristic of fallen humanity, produces conflict, abuse, sickness, sorrow, bondage, and all the other miseries, maladies, and complaints under the Sun. Hence, the Bible is absolutely indispensable for earth's troubled people, whoever they may be--seekers of truth, abused folks, conflicted ones, the sick, toilers, mourners, hardened prisoners, addicted sinners, and the hopeless. For bedeviled, needy mankind the Bible is indeed "the sword of the Spirit, the light in darkness, songs in the night, manna in the wilderness, water from a flinty rock, the anchor for tempest-tossed souls," and the treasure-trove of YHWH's beneficial instructions for life. Further, His Word leads all of the faithful along the blessed paths trod for centuries by scores of generations, including the heroes of faith--both men and women, worshipers and warriors, prophets and kings, and countless commoners.    Question:  Next post:    Shalom.

And They Remembered His Words 

        "Ask for the ancient paths...the good way...and walk in it" (Jer. 6:16).   1.5 Minutes

Subsequently, Scripture teaches us that a community or even a nation that conforms with God's sacred Law will prove to be consistently just, truthful, temperate, and peaceable; also generous, morally stable, spiritually strong, and blessed with divine favor and protection. However--as briefly mentioned above, if Scripture's foundational pillars are allowed to erode and collapse where they once stood, profuse manifestations of secular and spiritual lawlessness will rise and replace them. This grim turnover has actually happened as our own corrupted, backslidden nation--America, has increasingly rejected the noble standards of YHWH's holy Word. 

The manifold devastation that has resulted bears witness to our nation's dire need of (1) a "whole truth" revival--and for that (2) the "faith once for all delivered to the [Nazarene] saints..." (Jude 1: 3) must be our spiritual blueprint...the ideal, proven example of righteousness. This consecrated Jewish sect lived out the Book of Acts faith taught and practiced by Yeshua, His Spirit-baptized apostles and the early disciples and converts. By the grace of the Almighty this restoration is underway today! The ancient foundations of full biblical truth being re-seated upon the Cornerstone--Yeshua, are quickly rising now and this is the blessed result of discerning the indispensable spiritual need, repentance, and prayer. The budding Torah-oriented truth revival is prophetically timed and will prove to provide the enlightenment needed for enhancing the spiritual vitality and prophetic vision among the awakening saints and prepare them for the days ahead. The Bitter Fruit of Unbelief

"..when they knew God, they glorified him not...but became vain..." (Rom. 1:21).  3 Minutes

Brethren, when people reject Elohim's Word, they actually reject Elohim himself. In other words, falling away from Elohim and His holy Word begins the departure from divine wisdom and biblical normality to man's faulty wisdom and foolishness. If the spiritual meandering is left uncorrected apostasy will result. In other words, if  the backsliding persists without repentance He gives the renegades over to vile affections and a reprobate mind. See Romans1:26-28. Sounds negative and scary, but it's true--and our own nation's recent history confirms the Scriptures. Daniel Webster, an early American Christian believer, statesman, scholar and orator declared; "If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we  and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in perpetual obscurity." So let's look at our self-induced dilemma. Our Messiah-focused faith and its noble foundations have been publicly undermined and debased for decades by false teaching, general apathy, worldliness, and evolving unbelief fostered by a corrosive flood of satanic secular and religious propaganda that is not ebbing. Thus, we are now reaping the bitter fruit of a spiritual and moral downward spiral into grotesque immorality, civil nihilism, chaos, and mobocracy. This pretty much characterizes our culture's lamentable secular and religious plight, doesn't it? 

A spiritual awakening followed by a civil and moral renewal are desperately needed. The demonic, dark power currently undergirding our country's lawlessness and moral corruption is, in fact, an infernal takeover of biblical truth and decency that openly testifies to the country's weak, spiritually impaired condition. In fact, spiritually malnourished is the more accurate description. Further, the "salt and light" ministry of which our Messiah spoke is frail, having lost its preservation and illumination power. Indeed, the Ecclesia definitely needs prophetic "watchman pulpits" emplaced on Church "Spirit-and-Torah honoring platforms" to challenge the people and start openly recognizing and pulling down spiritual law-breaking. This responsibility  falls to us--the preoccupied people who are accountable for allowing the spiritual decline in the first place. In any case, the unseen satanic component at work "behind the veil" must be addressed, dismantled, and cast out.

This can only be accomplished by (a) the grace of Israel's Elohim and (b) the saints committing to deep, unified repentance and Spirit-led prayer. Diligently following the instructions regarding spiritual warfare provided in Ephesians, chapter six, is "a given!"  Then a restoration of the ancient biblical foundations, to the greatest possible extent, must be rebuilt upon (a) unflagging commitment to Yeshua, our Cornerstone, and (b) the righteousness of true, unalloyed biblical faith founded upon un-compromised, Torah-rooted doctrine. We--ourselves,  begin restoring the foundations by wholly conforming to the biblical truth we currently know. As a once blessed people we have a peculiar responsibility to be a sanctified people of good works, holy unto our Creator and Redeemer. The Blessedness of Recovering Ancient Truth

 "...ask for the ancient paths...and walk therein" (Jeremiah 6:16)   2.5 Minutes

YHWH's ancients paths, spoken of by the prophet, are the ways of salvation. This is where the Nazarene Ecclesia theologically walked-i.e. abode in the past. The "old" paths are eternal. They have been marked by YHWH that we should follow them. They are paths of faithfulness.

Jeremiah is exhorted Judah to determine its course in life by thoughtful deliberation and examination of the "ancient paths" of YHWH's instructions. There are other ways--worldly paths and trails, that may seem easy and comfortable, but its the (1) direction of the path--and (2) where it leads the hiker, and (c) its ending that must be carefully considered..the prophet says the paths of ancient truth--Torah truth, that have been trodden by many saints of old. They have been tested by experience and by walking [abiding] in them many have reached their goal...The ancient paths were established under the glow of YHWH's presence and are nearer to divine inspiration. New ways and man's paths were not birthed from heaven but are of infernal parentage. Avail yourself   So, once you are assured you should immediately "walk )live) therein"  before the inner motivation cools and leaves you standing at the crossroads. Jeremiah is exhorted Israel to carefully discern the roads and return to the paths marked out by Moses and and trod by the prophets. Yeshua Himself walked the ancient paths, not new ones. He is the Way. We follow him on the paths of divinely inspired royal truth.  There are always new paths concocted from the minds of carnal men, false ways. .the ways of those who turn from Elohim's commandments to demonic constructs. They say "We will not walk on ancient paths. We will follow the Broad Way--the path of which Messiah warned His listeners. But the day will come when imprisoned under the Broad Way spell, the hardened rebels will no longer say "We will not walk in YHWH's truth," but will confess..."We cannot." 

The old paths are the favored, appointed ways; the only good ways--the ways of His blessed commandments which, when followed, offer of rest for the soul and vision for life. The cure for the spiritual sickness of our day is first a strong and brave inquiry--a reconsideration of the old paths...an unflinching plain examination of YHWH's pure Torah truth attended by a commitment to obey its applicable truth. The Spirit-Inspired "Whole Truth" Revival is Working!

  "For we wrestle against...spiritual wickedness..." (Eph. 6:12).   2.5 Minutes

The ongoing cosmic conflict in which we earthlings are embroiled constitutes genuine spiritual warfare--a dire situation, already mentioned, that should be taken seriously by sober minded believers. Faith, love, un-compromised sanctification, and prophetic vision are paramount assets that must be maintained by His restoration zealots in order to gain success in this monumental struggle. So, with our nation's deteriorating condition and spiritual deficit in mind, are you engaged in some way with other consecrated followers of Yeshua in the struggle to recover the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16) and rebuild un-compromised spiritual foundations? Again, our own nation needs the old tried and true biblical pillars of faith restored, not only throughout its secular institutions but first to the churches as well--to the greatest extent possible. Most people now realize that apart from a broad spiritual awakening the USA will utterly collapse into satanic, globalist despotism. Since you have read this far, I assume that you are preparing yourself to enlist in this timely "whole truth" recovery movement, a journey that is actually an outgrowth of our heavenly Father's compassion. The apostolic (1) Yeshua-centered, (2) Torah-rooted, (3) Holy Spirit-empowered, and (4) Moedim-honoring Nazarene Ecclesia of the Book of Acts is our proven New Testament faith model. 

The fundamentals listed above are among the pillars of that pentecostal sect's unspoiled faith and practice which held Yeshua as the chief Cornerstone of their fellowship. Those same spiritual essentials and the historic, Spirit-anointed ministries which sprang forth from the Nazarene saints (a) welcomed among them the very blessed company of Elohim, (b) confirmed and preached the true, non-westernized Jewish Messiah, Yeshua, and (c) transformed the pagan Mediterranean world with His salvation Gospel. Shouldn't the holy foundations which upheld the apostolic faith of old, which was accompanied by miraculous ministries, be recovered and restored to the modern messianic Ecclesia of this era? Of course it should! So here is a reminder. YHWH's vision and compassion fail not. Responding to the need of His people--the spiritual Body of Messiah Yeshua, the Holy Spirit has inspired a Hebraic oriented truth revival that has been underway and slowly developing for about 25 years--right under the nose of Christendom. Although this renewal phenomenon is somewhat controversial.....and multi... it is providing encouragement and instruction to the saints who are going forward in the knowledge of the eternal Son, Yeshua, during their stay on earth.  What do you think, dear reader?  I think Contenders Voice, along with other messianic ministries, has been summoned to or this recuperative restoration movement--a divinely birthed, prophetically-timed renewal phenomenon. Grace makes a way for Obedience

 " ...we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles..." (Rom. 1:5-6).  1.5 Minutes

Brethren, read again the lead verse! It looks like we have an apostolic mandate, or responsibility, staring truth restorers in the face. It is set forth in Romans 1 and16, in Matthew 28, and made apparent also in the ministries of the apostles. Bringing "about the obedience of the faith" among the converts to Messiah leading to the transformation of their lives, was the commission assigned to the emissaries of the Gospelby the Holy Sprit. In compliance with Scripture, the goal of Contenders Voice is to (a) provide foundational education for believers and help (b) prepare them, to the fullest possible extent, with the Spirit and Truth realities of the original first century, New Covenant Nazarene faith. Equipping followers of the Messiah so that they are spiritually furnished and qualified to confront and "best" the rampant wickedness of the demanding days ahead is critical. Wake up, brethren! This vision demands heart-felt compliance to Yahweh's instructions. We are appointed to spiritual warfare and confronting the underlying dark spiritual component arousing the disobedience and perversion destroying the nation's institutional religious and secular components. Put His words into Practice

"Why do you call me 'LORD, LORD' and do not do what I tell you?" (Luke 6:46). 1.5 Minutes

Obedience to God's full Word--all that is known, applicable, and doable--is required by all Spirit-regenerated followers of Messiah Yeshua and must be taught to converts in the faith. Keep in mind that obedience is connected to trust in and reverence for Yahweh.  But "it is an obedience that flows from salvation faith but is always connected to ongoing faith"...not simply an initial faith, such as obeying Elohim's call to believe the Gospel. [1] The purpose of Paul's apostleship was not only to make converts and bring their the converts numbers and testimonies to Jerusalem. Paul's purpose was to bring about transformed lives distinguished by consistent obedience to Elohim...to His commandments. In this way Yeshua would be glorified and His followers would mature into genuine over-comers. Rev. 2 and 3. Hence the two foremost goals of Contenders Voice are (1) to bring about the obedience of the saints to His truth and (2) assist in the glorious transformation of their lives toward the likeness of our "first love," Messiah Yeshua--the Word made flesh. [1] Such is our intention. And be sure of this--obedience is not legalism! It is a wise, Spirit-led choice and hence the biblical expression of faith in and love for Yahweh...and our fellow man. Indeed, submission to sacred truth forms the foundation, or heart, of true praise and worship! Consider Apostle John's assertion, who was definitely not known to mince words or speak vaguely: "For this is the love of God [the way or means to show love for God and kindness to our fellow man], that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not burdensome" (1 John 5:3).  May our ultimate joy come from following His will. He is Faithful, Reliable, and Powerful 

"If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land: (Isaiah 1:19).   1.5  Minutes

See Rev. 2 and 3. Full compliance with Yahweh's instructions--again, all that are known, applicable, and doable--is expected from every believer! Such a lifestyle comes under the favor and blessing of Yahweh, according to Holy Writ. And for this we, Yeshua's Spirit-born followers, have been prepared.  Remember what Apostle Paul wrote: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation [someone that never existed before]: the old has gone, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:12).  Believer, you are (a) in union with Yeshua by grace through faith, (b) grafted into the commonwealth of redeemed Israel, (c) made a partaker of the blessed covenants, and (d) bonded to the Messiah's prophetic purpose. Make it your goal in life to consistently demonstrate love from a pure heart for Him, His people and their welfare, by keeping all His commandments--those known, relevant to your life and calling, and doable--just as I have already stated. (It's important to reiterate sometimes.) And be determined to renew a good conscience daily. Remember, your obedience is voluntary, a choice common to dedicated disciples of Yeshua--so choose life!. In this way you will make your conversation and behavior bespeak of love-motivated conformity fired by a sincere faith in YHWH's Torah Word. You are New Testament saints blessed and anointed by the indwelling Holy Spirit. who gives us the desire to love and glorify Yeshua and joyfully follow His instructions, your Jewish Messiah. Therefore, earnestly contend for His sacred whole truth and convey His heart to converts and budding disciples and exhort them to "...live a life worthy of the calling you have received" (Ephesians4:1). In this way we journey through our time on earth while advancing toward the resurrection of the righteous as saints who overcome the the hostilities and wickedness of the world.
